  1. Hi, does anyone know how Inrix collects its data and how it is distributed. I ask because my MIB2high seems to load traffic quite slowly but Trafficmaster was virtually instantaneous. Today on a 10 minute drive I started off with 14 reports then with regular increasing updates (every 30 seconds) I had 124 when I arrived at my destination and it was still adding to the list.
  2. Certainly the head unit needs to be rebooted after making coding changes.
  3. Interestingly I’m getting some mixed results with Inrix. The off slip on the M56 to Manchester at Cheadle has been closed all week. Not shown on my satnav but is present on Google maps. A couple of long term road works with traffic lights are shown one day and not the next. A local road was shown as closed but was in fact open. Anyone else seeing these sorts of discrepancies?
  4. Is it my imagination or does Inrix provide more traffic info than Trafficmaster did? I seem to lots more local road works details with temporary control lights and narrow lane notifications to mention a couple of items.
  5. Yee Ha! Just want to post that this fix (change the Fee Based Traffic Information adaptation from 15 to 14) has worked for me, traffic back on. Many thanks to all that research it and to lupoluke for doing the coding for me

  10. Hi again. So here's the thing. Not being remotely as technically knowledgeable as many of you out there I am now suffering from information overload. I have read and reread many of the posts but am no clearer as to whether or not the is a solution for my Columbus kit. Below are two screen shots from my head unit and what I would like to know is: is there a fix, if so what is it so if I can locate someone with the right dongle get the changes made. All help gratefully received. Thanks.
  11. Hi everyone, I am new to to the forum but have been following the posts from a very early stage as I have the same problem (no surprise there then!!). Great work by all you ‘techies’ who have performed all the research into possible fixes of which I understood nothing. I see in the previous post numskull is up and running using previous advice. My car is fitted with Columbus kit including Canton sound with jukebox feature. Would my fix be the same numskulls and is there anyone in the Manchester area who could apply the fix for me. I am prepared to travel and would obviously reward such help. Here’s hoping.
