I retrofitted a flat bottom steering wheel with this part 565 419 091 E BGW
My factory one was 3V0 419 091 S CWE.
Plug n play as both were DSG version, and same buttons.
No heating.
ThanksWhat car/year was yours?
Do you mean your pigweed already had paddles?

Everything I’ve read everywhere suggests that if you change a standard wheel for one with paddles, the paddles just work, no extra wiring etc.
The only time extra wiring is required is if you’re adding a wheel that is heated.
Others correct me if that’s incorrect, I’m just struggling to know what wheels off of other models will be a straight swap.
Would be lovely to a list of if you have a Superb III then wheels from xxxxxx will fit as a direct replacement.
Thanks

Thanks @D402
i think the buttons are interchangeable between wheels reading this thread. That wheel has long gone anyway.

I never got a reply here, I’m sure there must be knowledgable members who could’ve helped but just didn’t look in at the time?
I’m just bumping this again as I intend doing this still but varying life events have taken priority.
If anyone has information with reference to my above car details and questions I’d appreciate any help.

As title I always join forums relevant to cars I own.
Skoda is new for me so I look forward to some good reading, help when needed and assisting others as my knowledge/confidence grows.
Car: Superb L&K 190 4x4
Just purchased an OBDELEVEN ultimate package, seems a good tool. Already unlocked a few things.
Thanks for having me 👍

I’m on here for help so please don’t think he seems to know better all the time 😂 as that is not the case.
I feel if the same number of switches/rockers are identical on each wheel regardless of the symbols and functions it will work as it is just communication on the bus? The bus doesn't know what the symbol is, it just does the same function as before?
Thanks
