  1. Thanks for your reply however I’m quite new on here. And I’m simply looking for help with getting the Bluetooth function working on my mates car stereo. I wasn’t to know that this thread hasn't been touched for 4 years and most the folk you've quoted haven't been on the site for 10+ years.. I was also unaware that this site, http://www.octavia-vrs.com/ Was shut down a long long ago too...but what does my polo have to do with this. As I’m looking for some help with getting my mates phone connected to his stereo. That has a Bluetooth mobile phone connection. And I’m looking to get both my own phone and his connected to the car stereo. I have tried to connect my phone up to his stereo. But there is no means of a Bluetooth connection. However you appear to have answered my initial question by means of saying. Bolero doesn't include BT. Instead, it uses a separate module that's normally fitted under the front passenger seat. I will check this out later on in daylight. Although I’m not sure what. Kind of module I’d be looking for. Is there a particular make / name / model number I’m looking for here.
  2. Hi thanks for your reply to my question on here. I was wondering if you would be able to point me in the right direction. Regarding the Octavia Bluetooth kit. I mean it’s quite misleading by Skoda to put this Bluetooth function on the stereo. That You cannot use the Bluetooth function unless you buy a separate Bluetooth kit sold by Skoda. however what is this kit called do you have a make or model name or number. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your help on this matter.
  3. This link is no good. all it does is take you to another useless link. That has nothing to do with skoda. http://www1.octavia-vrs.com/?backfill=0&domainname=0&searchbox=0&subid4=651bfac737b9ef6fac425d63
  4. hi I’m interested in your response above. Are you able to enlighten me further on the . RSAP (Remote SIM Access Profiles). As I’ve not heard of that before. I’m interested in this as I also have an iPhone. As I understand it that’s not compatible. “ going by others on this forum “ Although I’ve seen loads of YouTube videos of people connecting the latest iPhone. To the newer version of stereo. With steering wheel controls. It’s doing my head in that something that’s supposed to be so simple. Such as connecting any iPhone by Bluetooth. Is turning into a bloody nightmare. I’ve included a picture of the stereo.
  5. Can you let me know if you have been able to connect an iPhone to your car stereo. I’m having problems connecting mine. Or my mates to his car stereo. Either of our The phones don’t pick up the stereo. And I’m looking for some help here. It’s the skoda auto bolero with mp3 compatibility. As pictured below.
  6. Hi do you still have your Citygo Head unit /stereo conversion kit. I’m interested in buying as an experiment. As I cannot connect my phone. To my friends skoda Octavia by Bluetooth. However I dare say that you would “ not “ know whether or not it’s compatible with the skoda Octavia.
