Xenon headlamp sensor to buy or alternative part
Fablukasz replied to Fablukasz's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
It looks like the plastic has welded on somehow… I’ve managed to find another Skoda level sensor, just couldn’t figure out how to get the damn thing off so I can swap it😂 -
Fablukasz started following Headlight manual adjustment screws , Xenon headlamp sensor to buy or alternative part , Fabia 1 wiring diagrams and 3 others

So I've got a slight issue, my level sensor at the back doesn't seem to be working at all and the connector seems to be stuck on. Is there anyway I can get that plug off or just replace the sensor? https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6n0907503-level-sensor-skoda-21780.html 389 euros is a bit steep for just a sensor.. unless someone is selling one?😁

Ah right no bother, thanks a lot

Just throwing this question out there.. Does anyone have the pdf file with all the wiring diagrams from 1999-2007? I’m looking for the xenon levelling diagram as I need to troubleshoot.

1.9TDI PD130 BLT Tandem pump leak
Fablukasz replied to Fablukasz's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Hi Right, I’ll get a set ordered and replace all the seals, thanks for the tip. -
Hi guys, I’ve noticed the black top cover of the tandem pump gasket is leaking a bit of diesel, it looks like it’s weeping but I want to get it sorted before any major issues happen. Is it possible to buy the top gasket cover or is it just a case of buying a whole entire gasket set for the pump and changing all of them?

I know with mine I’ve got the xenon headlight range that I need to connect into via vcds and then into adjusting mode and then adjust it manually with the two white knobs on the headlight. I’m not sure if it might be the same with the Octavia? However, on my headlight the reflector popped out of the ball joint for the adjuster and it’s been ok for now.
-
Yeah that happened to me as well, I managed to pop it back on without splitting the headlight just a lot of grunts and swear words. Now to investigate the level sensor issue 😕

I’ve got factory projectors do that should be okay. Cheers lad

I know this question probably been asked a lot before but.. Does anyone know if Fabia MK4 front speakers fit the MK1? Mine currently are not in the best sounding state at the moment. I know the MK2 speakers do but wondering if the Mk4 did as they look relatively the same size.
-
Sorry for reviving an old thread, did these pass MOT okay? I'm looking at fitting the same ones to my projectors as mine are a bit burnt too.
-
Glad I’m not the only one having the issue! I’ll have a look at it, thank you very much

Hi everyone, Just wondering if there is a tear down of the headlight unit or anything regarding the manual adjustment screws and how they control the headlight? Currently wondering if they are repairable as my xenon headlight reflector inside is very loose and flopping about. I will be rebuilding them with bi-xenons.
-
Well I have just noticed a couple of things on my xenon headlights. The connector to the motor adjustment is corroded. The entire reflector housing is moving, I don't know if it has popped out of the adjustment screws, is there any way to fix this? Good thing is the passenger one works absolutely brilliant

I’ve adjusted them by the torx screws at the top and it did raise it a little bit, enough for it to pass mot. I’ll try loading the boot up with stuff and see if it adjusts, hopefully the sensor at the back or the module isn’t busted… that’ll be expensive.
