I have no idea, they where fitted brand new 4 weeks ago along with top mounts and have rattled/knocked since, back to garage and mechanic said its all solid bla bla bla, just had a tyre change today and say this rubbing... 🤷‍♂️

Apart from Bilstein, what's a good quality shocks and mounts Brand ?

Yes link replaced next day, I think the shocks are not aligned properly and put to much pressure on the drop link, who knows. Gonna buy Bilstein rear shock and mounts then get the whole lot taken out and re built, hopefully that solves the problem

Oh and a week after the front shocks were fitted my driver side drop link just completely Snapped didn't even hit any pot holes, just normal slightly bumpy roads

Front Shock and mounts are Bilstein and the rear were cheap ish brand from local parts supplier EKs, was told Bilstein are good ? Should I ask next garage to cover the Mount's in grease?

Hi all, Just had brand new Rear and front shocks and top mounts fitted 4 weeks ago and the car feels terrible knocking, rattling amd just feels loose to drive. How is this possible all is new.... Took is back and the mechanic said they checked and everything is okay, probably they didn't even bother to check?? Is it worth getting different garage to take out everything and start again re install shocks and mounts plus add grease to all parts to help stop any rattle?? Please any advice 🙏 Thanks

Hi all, Having a nightmare with front and rear shocks and Top mounts, just had the second brand new set front and back shocks and top mounts but still it all just feels loose and top mount rattle and now drive side drop link has completely Snapped, The mechanic keeps blaming cheap aftermarket OEM parts but can they be keeping installing them wrong, the parts supplier EKs says nobody else complaining about the same parts.. When all suspension parts are new should the Car feel solid like it just left the Factory?? Guess I should have just got Skoda dealer to fit genuine Parts done right 🤷‍♂️ What yall Saying? 👍 The recent front shocks and mounts installed where Bilstein parts, still feel loose and rattle then the drop link Snapped. Parts where correct Bilstein supplier checked with my Vin number

Skoda octavia 2018, Driver side vents not blowing hot air all of a sudden, passenger side and back vents in middle console all blowing hot, all settings are on high heat, any ideas why? Expensive fix? Kind regards

Left shock was leaking on an MOT the very next day I bought the car at26k milage was pulled leaking advisory, Skoda sold me the car with clean MOT.... Even had to wipe the shocks clean to pass the next MOT... This picture was taken by Skoda Mechanic Morecambe saying they are not leaking enough and are perfect, when every independent garage I went to said they are leaking and need replacing...

Unbelievable shocking service from Skoda Grimsby and Skoda Morecambe 😔😔

Hi all, take a look at this Shock absorber video, Skoda Grimsby and Skoda Morecambe both told me the car is safe and the shocks don't need replacing under warranty because there not Leaking enough.... Just Paid to change them both myself got absolutely fed up going round in circles with Skoda Dealership. I sent this to skoda Grimsby and they still say when we checked all was well. Unbelievable ‼️ I only bought the car from Grimsby Skoda February 2023 at 28k milage 20240207_172748.mp4
