  1. Hi mate, I just spoke to Skoda Carlisle they have just said the timing belt is for life and doesn't need changing that's there new advice. I'm not so sure 😕

  3. I put 40k milage on the car last year, alot of motorway milage due to work, does that change anything with the timing belt? Alot of use in a short period
  4. 140k seems high, isn't it Russian Roulette, if it breaks the car is destroyed?
  5. Hi all, any advice when to get the timing belt and water pump changed??, currently on 69k milage and I've read anywhere between 60k and 100k Rough estimate for the cost fitted?? Regards

Bought the Car at 25k mileage with a clean MOT, they didn't expect me to Re MOT it the next day and straight away it came back Advisories Misting front shocks, So obvious Skoda Grimsby ignored the Advisories to sell the car with a clean MOT.. at 32k milage I went for 4 new tyres independent garage that's when they said the front shocks are leaking amd need replacing, that photo is LH side, driver side not as bad but leaking.. Grimsby Skoda are Very bad, Never use this dealership
  7. This is What Grimsby Skoda Say it's completely Normal to leak oil, Morecambe Skoda say the same..

Both Morecambe Skoda and Grimsby Skoda have said there shock absorbers and perfectly fine/normal, but other non Skoda garages both say they are leaking and need replacing, probably Skoda trying to not repair on the 1year warranty I have? I've had the car 6months and this leaks have been there for 3 months. Any ideas? Regards
