  1. I searched a bit for this and can't see anyone has mentioned it here. So does anyone else have experience of this? It's not something that's ever been an issue with other cars parked in the same place over the same wintery / wet conditions. Fairly often I will release the handbrake in my 2023 4k miles Scala and the brakes will be stuck, until I press the accelerator harder and free them, often with a small clunk as they release. Seems odd to me, is it a dealer visit to get the sliders greased? Or a known issue with a service bulletin to fix it?
  2. That's annoying. It should be included as standard on all cars, given the use of dashcams.
  3. Not really had this with previous Audi or BMW but even when wearing trainers they seemed to slip far to easily on the clutch. So I purchased a roll of this and solved the problem immediately. It's night and day difference. ( I stuck some on the brake and clutch pedal ) Hope it's useful information to some.
  4. I got the 23 Scala with the wheel kit and I 'm so glad I did as I got a screw in a tyre yesterday. I was able to change it and drive to a tyre place with relative ease. Good luck with the new model. I am jealous of the new for 24 power outlet up by the mirror which will make the addition of a dash cam quite simple. I didn't get one in mine.
  5. Too Funny 🙂 Found this thread when searching to see if anyone else was embarrassed by the lame Scala horn. So, I can live with it but sometimes it doesn't reflect the right amount of outrage when you press it and especially when pressing it very hard doesn't help either. Here's another solution that I would like to see as standard on all cars, upgraded horn Couple of nice options for simply catching attention and a more fulfilling option for those rare but necessary times. I specially like the one at the 4min section. Just need to decide what to do. In the mean time I'm going to post my first new thread post here and talk about slippy clutch pedals, 👍
  6. Hi all, I'm Paul and I have just purchased a Skoda Scala SE L in metallic grey. I've had a variety of cars over the years BMW 7 Series, Audi A8's, Mazda MX5, C5 Corvette and a Lotus Esprit V8 GT, to name a few. My first car though was a Skoda 105 Lux in the eighties. (when Skoda was in fact Skoda) The time is here to have something more practical and useful rather than just a work status symbol 🙂 Looking forward to ownership and interacting with you all. Cheers, Paul.
