It sounds more like the noise is coming from somewhere between the front passenger door and the driver’s door, roughly at ear level. I noticed yesterday that when I made quick left turns, the sound appeared. For a while, I thought it might be the door seals being dry, but lubricating them didn’t make any difference.

Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a really annoying issue and could use some help. There’s a crawling or rustling sound coming from the left side of me when I’m in the driver’s seat, around ear level. I’m having trouble pinpointing the exact source, but it seems like it might be coming from either the driver’s side door, the passenger door, or somewhere in between. The sound often happens when the car is shaking a bit – like on bumpy roads or uneven surfaces – which makes it even harder to track down. Really? Do you have travel assist or adaptive lane assist installed? I had adaptive, and I was really impressed. On country roads, it smoothly and steadily handled turns of about 60-80 degrees. My friend has a Volvo V90, and I wasn't particularly impressed with their system. It didn't handle curves as well.

Yeah, I usually drive with the ACC on. And like you say, it works perfectly! It's just the beeping that gets to me, haha. for you other guys who have changed your steering wheel. Did your old steering wheel have the travel assist button like mine?

Hey @Grimlock, Nothing feels quite logical here. But the button was there from the beginning.Before it didn't do anything when I pressed it. But now that I have adaptive lane assist, I can activate it by pressing the button directly. Instead of going into the menu. And the yellow marks shows. The Adaptive is probably an earlier version of Travel, because I can say that once it's activated (after 58 km/h), the car drives excellently on its own. It follows the road perfectly! Before I go ahead and buy a new steering wheel, how do I know if the steering wheel does have capacitive sensors but aren’t activated?
