  1. Hi Pete, I'm not able to message you, too new on this board but I'm wondering if you may be able to help me with a mk3 2016 Fabia drivers window motor problem. The driver side regulator cable packed up, I got that changed but before I had, I did a bad thing and took the motor apart and smashed the bushes in trying to screw it back together. I ordered a 2nd hand switch for a Seat Toledo, same part number (6V2959802B) as my Skoda's, even had a Skoda logo stamped on it! Passenger and rear windows all worked fine except drivers side which worked in reverse to the switch action. Ordered a new part, same part number again, from ebay, stated for a Fabia 2015 onwards. Fitted it and have exactly the same issue with the drivers side operating in reverse action to the switch. Are you able to replace the bushes on the original motor if I sent it off to you ? I'd imagine that I could get the new motor to work by swapping wires around but I don't think electrics are my thing! Thanks Paul
