Its a UK car, is it possible to see the mileage which was recorded at NCT online somewhere

going looking at a 2015 Octavia with 100k miles on the clock. I have an OBD scanner I purchased for 30euro from LIDL/ALDI a few years ago. Will I be able to use it with the Octavia to see is mileage genuine or anything interesting. Is it even compatible with an Octavia.

Going to look at a 2016 Octavia 4x4 1.6tdi estate later today, its clean with 150k miles on the clock. Timing belt has been done. Im new to the VAG world, anything I should be looking out for A mate says great car he has the 4x4 2.0tdi, my rear diff got noisy VAG wanted 6k for replacement, I opened it up and put in new bearings £30. Is this dual mass flywheel guaranteed to fail sometime and dpf ready to get blocked, it was doing a lot of long drives. Other than wheel bearings and rear shocks the other says he has required no other repairs, other than tyres and basic servicing. Was i to fit a hitch is it the same hitch as would fit a regular saloon ? Is it possible purchase the manual for such a car online, I mean the proper manual which has 5000 pages in it which shows everything and how to repair etc.

Do I read this right you have to remove front bumper or wheel arch liner to replace fog light bulb, bit excessive isn't it How about regular headlight bulbs

The servicing stuff I am aware of Im aware of the scandal but what was the fix and is it a problem item
