Featured Replies

Going to look at one of these tomorrow 100k miles.

It's Clean and owned by retiree for last 5 years

We'll serviced I'm told anyway

What should I be looking out for

 Manual or auto?

Manual

In the last 5 years how many miles have they done?

Does the last couple of MOT,s look OK, passes without a retest and no advisories.

Are the tyres good, matching 4 or 2 pairs, is the windscreen OK not chipped.

Has it had annual oil changes and see what other proof of servicing done it has?

?

Did it get the VW Emissions fix from 2017 so before or since the new owner got it?

The servicing stuff I am aware of

Im aware of the scandal but what was the fix and is it a problem item

The Fix with the 1.6 TDI CR was an Engine Management software upload / remapping & the addition of a Flow device to allow VW Group to say they acted on the Defeat Device and emissions that they say they never cheated.

It was long enough now if done over 5 years ago that the car might be perfectly fine.

Easy to search about if you want to online.

Go on the condition and how the car drives.

How many miles has it done over the last 5 years going by the MOT history?
