Superb Mk3 Estate PHEV - first thing to change/do?
When you say completely stock what does that include? What assistants do you have? Do you have ACC? Do you have the triangle camera in your windscreen? Electric memory seats? The mods I have done are the comfort entry (seats all the way back when you enter and exit) Activated lane assist and adaptive lane guidance (triangle camera required) Doors unlocking automatically when you put it into park (useful coz the Mrs gets the nippers out when i pull up and is forever banging on my window to press the button) Changed the setting in the menu so the key unlocks all doors when you unlock it, that always p*sses me off when you've not pressed it hard enough the second time so prefer the boot and everyone else to be able to get in after one press. Reduced the speed for the parking assistant thing to go off my screen to 5km per hour. I assume you've set up Skoda Connect and everything so you can remote turn your ac on? Really nice to have your car fully charged and warm especially in this weather. You've probably also figured out the hybrid system too, if you turn auto off you can set the amount you want it to charge by moving the arrows up or down etc. However rarely do this. This car turned me into a stickler for efficiency, managed to get 60mpg on a 170 mile round trip with 1 mile of battery range left on new years day. Not bad for a 1.4 litre petrol driven barge! I've got a heated steering wheel sat here just trying to figure out what clock spring I need to replace along with it to get it working. I love the car hope you do as well!

MFSW with Heating & Gear Shift Paddles Retrofitting to a late 2018 Skoda Superb III DSG Estate)
Nice one mate. I don't think i need the lin adapter because mine is the same model steering wheel without the buttons. I'll need a clockring though. Don't suppose you'd know where I'd find the part number for FL? I know yours is pre FL. Did you get the part number off the guides here?

MFSW with Heating & Gear Shift Paddles Retrofitting to a late 2018 Skoda Superb III DSG Estate)
Alright Awesam, is this on a Superb yeah? So you have the MFSW so its a FL model right? You are saying it was a straight swap for heated SW and paddles to the one in your factory car, nothing else required?

Retrofit heated steering wheel
Has anyone done this to a FL Superb? I have got a 2020 FL which obviously has the same steering wheel as the MK4 Octy but Im banging my head against the wall trying to figure out: 1. If I need a Squib and 2. What part number I need if I do. I'm assuming I do, but all the ones I can find on fleabay for a Superb dont have the additional connector looking at the photos. I initially bought the new steering wheel for the travel assist but I am old and have reynaulds in my hands and I want that sweet heat on my wheel and am trying to do it all in one hit. So frustrating having the almost answers everywhere, there is one thread that lists all the variants of the squibs for LHD vehicles! 😭 I don't know how you lot find all your info! I was going to buy an Octavia Mk4 squib, but then the Octavia thread on doing the retrofit says the Superb needs a different one, but is this different from the one that Mk3 Octavia's need when putting it on a pre FL Mk3 Superb? I don't know! So confused. If anyone has the answer or can direct me to where I can get it from I will be forever in your debt and my blue fingers will owe you a beer. I have ACC and a rear wiper.

Clock Spin replace / Steering heating
Hi M4ki, thanks a lot for your reply. Sorry I didn't respond I missed the notification email. I would really appreciate your help on this as just received the steering wheel. I just have a couple of questions around part numbers if you still have this info available. Mainly which clockspring and connector do you need? I like you mainly bought it to activate travel assist, but I have cold hands so really would like to get the heated steering wheel done at the same time! Do you need to add anything in the fuse box? If you could give me a really quick general run down on how you did it that would be amazing. Hope you had a good Christmas if you celebrate it! Cheers

Is a MY2020 Mk iV actually a Mk3 or is it a Mk iV?
Congratulations! That will be very nice I imagine. You won't have any need to retrofit anything to that, that's for sure. However I am still confused. Because I am seeing OEM steering wheels for FL Superbs with part no 3V0419091ADBGW on threads on this site talking about retrofitting heated steering wheels. When the actual oem steering wheel in my car is the updated version of this and looks identical to the Octavia steering wheels of the Octavia MkIV range.

Is a MY2020 Mk iV actually a Mk3 or is it a Mk iV?
Thanks. So what I have is a Mk3 Facelift Superb iV yeah? So the resources I need to look at for the internal tech are the mk3 fl threads which are Superbs that are 2019 to 2023?

Is a MY2020 Mk iV actually a Mk3 or is it a Mk iV?
In terms of retrofitting and the like. Its really confusing. Is the Superb iV PHEV from 2020 a Mk3 PHEV with the same in car tech as a FL Mk3. Then the 2023 Superb is the actual Mk iV in all its varients? Or does it have similar tech to the Octavia Mk iV. Is the travel assist on steering wheel on pre 2020 superbs? The main thing I am trying to figure out is if the digital dash requires ODIS remote unlock to add. I have read for the Mk iV Octavias it is a plug and play swap. HELP!

Superb iV buying advice
I've just got a 2020 and I love it. I work hybrid remote so 2 days driving to office about 20 miles away and 3 days gym and school run (about 9 miles) The home days are all electric. Moving to fully remote next year so expect majority of usage to be electric only. It starts in EV only mode and on the days I'm in the office I drive EV until I get on the motorway then switch to hybrid mode on the slip road. The car is fast with just the EV motor but like the guy above said I can wheelspin coming out of junctions if I'm a bit too heavy on the pedal. In Sport mode it is something else! I know you probably won't be using it but it's pulls like a train. I'm only getting 20 mile range atm off a full charge in winter. Or 20 on the dash anyway probably less once the aircon is on for demisting etc. I'd get one with travel assist if I could buy it again (with the button on steering wheel), as that incorporates most of the driver convenience options there are. And any that are not there you will have the tech to activate with obd11 or similar. Can't believe this car is so cheap to buy. In love.

70 plate iV Coding service in Lancashire (Burnley)?
Hi, Is there anyone localish to me who can add lane assist/guidance, easy entry and a couple of other bits to my Superb. It's new to me and has the triangle camera, acc, side assist, front assist, light assist and also for some reason works with wireless Android auto which I thought wasn't possible on my model. If there is anyone out there who can do this for a reasonable price or you can recommend someone please let me know!

98K miles Superb for £12k what should I know?
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2019 98k miles superb, list price is 12,200 its the 2.0 TDI CR SE L Executive 5dr. What should I be looking out for/saving up for if I buy this car. I heard the 5 year Cam belt recommendation has been dropped and I think I've read that it is 140k miles that it needs changing. What is the expected lifespan of the dmf and clutch on one of these? Anything I should be wary of/looking for when I buy it? Its a really beautiful car I just don't know if I need a reality check! Surely at those miles its just been eating up the motorway which is what these cars with this engine were made for.
