How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Hi Langers2k, Thanks for your rapid reply. Yes as far as I am aware you have got one coding instruction that i have the screenshot of the relative section below; I did go through 4 or 5 steps but unfortunately due to the new labelling of the some components of the VCDS; then some of them appears different on my car or not available? Even though I have tried it 3-4 times unfortunately no luck! But thanks very much again for your time, effort and rapid reply? Still in need of help to sort this coding business out then the smaller problem is quite unreasonable rear boot lid handle as I explained in my post above. But if I missed some other coding instructions whilst I was reading your posts any direction provided will be much appreciated. Regards

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Hello Weyland and Briskoda Community, Help Needed: Rear View Camera Retrofit – Trajectory Lines / Dynamic Lines Not Working Plus the Rear Boot Lid handle does not work Manually. I'm reaching out for guidance on a retrofit project involving the installation of a genuine Highline rear view camera in my 2018 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI SE L Executive (3V5 Estate). While the camera powers up and displays on the infotainment screen, I'm encountering several issues: No trajectory or dynamic guidelines: Despite attempts to enable them via VCDS, they remain absent. Electrical fault with rear door handle: The handle isn't operable manually, even though current is supplied from the fuse box, suggesting a potential wiring or module issue. Fault code: VCDS reports a "Missing Message" error (U1121 00 [00001001]), indicating a communication problem with the trailer module (Oldbit-monitoring Gateway_72.Anhaenger_01_alt). Camera Details: Part Number (printed): 566827566 Alternative OEM Part Number: 5Q0 980 556 B Hardware Version: H18 0231 Software Version: V03935342ZE 0001 Type: Genuine OEM Highline camera Vehicle Details: VIN: TMBKH7NP9K7013548 Registration Number: MJ68 YGP I've double-checked the VCDS coding sections but couldn't find specific instructions for retrofitting a Highline reversing camera to a Skoda Superb 3V5 Estate. This section of the forum has got a good usable information but in my case; I could not use it too much as my problem is related to the coding of the Genuine Skoda Camera. Fitting was very easy and I finished it within 4 hours. If anyone has experience with this retrofit or can offer advice on the necessary coding steps, wiring configurations, or module adaptations, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, Maz

Fuse Box Layout and fuse boxes for Accessories [Superb Mark 3]
2018 (68) Skoda Superb Mark 3 (3V5) Combi Hi all, If anyone knows; could you please indicate or mark the fuse/s shown below on the screenshot of the fuse box of my superb mark 3 (68 reg) That is, Skoda superb 2.0 TDI SE L executive. When I checked; the fuse box of my superb; almost all of the fuses in the fuse box showing live (without ignition switched on)? I need an accessory fuse slot in order to connect my reversing camera live wire? But I am a bit puzzled? I would like to thank all of the members of the forum in advance who would be able to direct me to the right fuse by marking it with a red cycle etc? Regards

Hi Breezy_Pete, Thanks very much for your time and effort in order to identify my Skoda superb’s (3v5) Glow plug with pressure sensor? i really appreciate it and once again I do thank you.- Pressure sensor or not ? Glow plugs
Hi, I have got the same issue with my Skoda superb 3v5. I.e. I need the glow plug with the pressure sensor and the chassis number of my car is: TMBKH7NP9K7013548 any help would be appreciated if someone can supply the right part number? On eBay; 04L 905 061C is advertised as the compatible one? But some eBay sellers are advertising the par number as 03L 905 061C So I am a bit confused which one to go for? Thanks in advance.- Echo in the car when passengers speak
Hi there, I am having the same issue but at much more higher volume? Even when the windows are open I can hear the wind blowing eco in the car. could you please tell me how to turn echoing function off? regards maz- Rear Shocks OEM
Hi Crasher, Is there any possibility for you to check my Skoda Superb EState 3V5 (reg no: MJ68 YGP) rear SHOCK ABSORBERS and FRONT and REAR brake discs part numbers? I have seen that you have tried to help with user "Shugmo's" cart part number. I would like to tahnk you in advance for the help. If it is absolutely necessary I will be more than happy to provide you with the WIN number? Regrads Maz- New look heated steering wheel retrofit
Hi there, sorry I didn’t want to go ahead with the conversion anymore. Because it was not worth to waste €200 in order to have a little function and just a simple wire for the sake of heated steering wheel . So I reverted back to the previous SW. cheers 👋mazzy960 started following Change skin of virtual cockpit to "rs style"- Change skin of virtual cockpit to "rs style"
Hi Gizmo, I have got a few little issues with a retrofitted virtual cockpit; 1- The colour of my retrofitted VC onto my late 2018 (68 reg) Skoda Superb SE L (DSG) is not as vibrant as the original factory fitted one? Is there any reason for this (my VC is a Chinese manufactured one). Please see screenshots below; 1 of them related to quality of the colour and the second one has a horizontal colour slider; I don’t think that my car has got this function as this is something to do with the ambient light function of the car. By the way the first 2 photos are copied from Google and the rest is my VC’s photos. 2- Could you please advise me how to change the skins if the virtual cockpit dials by using the VCDS? 3- Is there any coding to increase the the intensity of the lights on my dull looking virtual cockpit other than the adjustment on the main screen which are almost to the highest level? Thank you fir your help in advance. I also I do thank you those knowledgeable people who will be providing info about the little issues above? Cheers Guys- Mib 2.5 retrofit
Hi There, Someone told me the other way around. Thanks very much for correcting this point. I really appreciate your correction. Cheers- Mib 2.5 retrofit
Thanks for doing so good resident member whose responses do not comply with his forum status…..- Mib 2.5 retrofit
Hi ApertureS, Could you please let me know how much is the cost of retrofitting fitting of the Virtual cockpit as well as reverse camera then once I am free to come down I will do so as long as the retrofitting price for those two item in question above is reasonable? Of course I trust your professionalism since you are the first person to give detailed information about this retrofitting in details? I strongly believe that you understood me wrong? Because I wanted to run the cables/wires without removing the glovebox so that it is simply having a good ample space for me to work and run the wires and cables through? But I also wanted to check back of the main screen as I was told to use a triangular MOST Wires (you also stared this MOST cable 2 females and 1 male) by others me thinking that 1 plug goes and connects to the main unit in the glove box, second one connects to the MIB 2.5 then third one connects to the virtual cockpit? This was my assumption but, in your latest post you made it clear that there is no connection to be made to the MIB 2.5 (main screen) Obviously now it is clear that this is not the case? Could you please reply this as a PM and opening hours of your work shop and address of it? As well reasonable price for fitting these two items; 1- my own reverse camera supplied by myself (bought from China as HIGHLINE one. Not the cheap one)? Plus I bought a Chinese VC as you stated that they are perfectly okay you fitted a few and you have not experienced anything bad so far? So, waiting for your reply as a private message to my inbox? I really appreciate your effort you have already to put into this matter and still trying to do so and I do thank you in advance for your cooperation and help😊 with my best regards- Mib 2.5 retrofit
Hi Jr rs, what you have written here in the forum is reflection of who you are. So I do thank you for your statement. Nobody asked your views about this? whatever has been mentioned by ApertureS has been taken on board and noted. Please don’t worry about others too much with your premature mind? If you need to do so; please look in the mirror and whoever you see in the mirror worry about him.😂 Moreover, I am clever enough to achieve a first class masters degree in Pharmacy.- Mib 2.5 retrofit
Hi Swenk, could you please let me know the details information about how to remove the main unit (MIB 2.5) as you have retrofitted it? i need to remove mine in order to run a most cable/wire behind it or need to run/connect triangular MOST cable behind it? I removed the 5F unit from its location by using the compatible keys (even though I did not disconnect the quad lock plug from the behind of the 5F ; but even I’d so there was no space to put your hand through in order to run any wires/cables behind the main unit without dismantling it? So I really appreciate your help if you provide me how to take the MIB 2.5 screen out from the dashboard? SK that I can run the wires/cables behind it comfortably? thanks for your cooperation and help on this matter. Maz - Pressure sensor or not ? Glow plugs
