Hit The 399999 km Today Ya cant beat a Skoda Superb Diesel !!
Hi there , yes it is all untouched , Ive always changed my oil every 10,000 km , my last car a Volvo diesel had 650,000 and no problems .Still going Im told ! And Ive never had any problems with the turbo , they dont like dirty oil ! The only major thing was the AGR , and aftre looking indide it , apart from ther butterfly falling off , it was clean no carbon crud buildup .People are alway saying very ten grand oil change no way !! I say how much a new engine or turbo :-)

Had to change the AGR , the butterfly fell off .and the spidle that turns the butterfly was seized .I changed one injector and washed out the dfp .They where all not in bad condtion , but I guess the faulty agr screwed it all up ! Cant complain though ,and its still agreat car to drive ! Just fitted the Osram H-7 Night Breaker LEDs , now I can see at night ! If you get them for this model built in 2012 you have to buy a conversion adapter kit , only cost a few bucks , but it aligns the beams, and is well worth the money to see at last , as standard there a bit iffy !!!

In reply to Gabbo ,I left the DPF it standard as it went good enough for me with the standard setup . But like I said , every 10000 kilometers new oil and filter ,its cheaper than a new engine in the long run ! I go to my local drive in oil change workshop they do the work and I just sit in the car and drink a coffee 🙂

Well changing the oil and oil filter every 10000 km does pay out !! And 2 minutes later hit the big 400000 km !!

Did you find the problem ? As I went through the check this change this clean this !! Then found out it was AGR Valve part number 045063N , fault showed PO40300, the butterfly flap spindle has seized solid , even though its made of stainless stell , and also the flap, spott welded on , had fell off the spindle .Its a git of a job and only for the brave !! Repalced it , all the lights went out and I can drive it at normal speed and no limp mode any more !! Thats why I let my mate do it !! He hasnt spoke to me since !! Good luck and I hope this helps .

Skoda Superb 2 liter Diesel Rusty !
I have just been told by a grownup ! That be happy , not with the rusting in the bore side , but that its a sighn that it did not leak diesel and the one you thought was healthy , ie , had a light oil covering is a sighn that the injector was not air tight ! And the number two injector is probably blocked , and take the end that goes into the cylinder take it apart , with the help of one trustworthy YOUTUBER , and clean all the jets out clean all the parts and clean all the rusty surfaces on all the injectors and coat with ,Ive been told , a silicone type lubricant .Any thoughts ? Please let ne know .Thanks Harry

Skoda Superb 2 liter Diesel Rusty !
I have found out that the reason my Superb was in emergency mode , is because I had an injection problem ,acording to our computer test rig . After pulling it out , with the biggest slam hammer on the market , I found that the end of the injector was rusty ! Is this normal ? Then I took the other 3 out , number one was , to my eyes had slight oil on it , nothing seriuos , but all the others , and two of them where running fine , where rusty . The car was running perfectly up till then . Good starting , good mileage etc .No smoke .I have been given a used injector from an accident car , with only 1500 km on it .Just to try it out . Hope you can help , and maybe some words of wisdom !! Thank you Harry

Skoda superb Map sensor 2011 2.0 tdi
My Superb is in limp mode ,due to a sensor defect , filter has been cleaned , sensor checked and fault is definetly this one with the orange outer plug , on my car ,.Proved defect by plugging in my diagnostic tool and connecting to the laptop . It shows a defect wth this plugged in or disconnected. When I follow the cable it, the sensor , seems to disappear underneath the partical filter and behind and underneath the turbo .Do I have to get it on the car lift and take it out from underneath ! And whats it called and maybe a part number ? Hope you can help , as its no fun driving to work on the motorway and being runnover by trucks when I go up hills at 80 kmh !! By the way the engine diagram , is it possible to get the part names with the numbers shown ? Thank you , from a very slow Superb driver !!
