  1. Glad its helpful! Don't be misled by the petrol filler drain if you are on the driver's side. If the wheel arch idea doesn't work, you could probably get a hand to the roof drain by unscrewing the bumper without undoing all the wiring. If you just pull off the red rubber flap that would fix it, I reckon.
  2. I have exactly the same fault. There's a thread here about it, and it looks as though the best answer is to replace the wires. https://www.karoqforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=958. To do that you really want to unplug the wiring so you can take the whole thing out to get at it; the plug is somewhere behind the trim around the rear quarterlight. The challenge will be trying to get inside the internal trim without snapping off some vital bit of plastic. Does anyone here know how to remove the trim inside the car near where the roof structs fix on?
  3. Lots of info about the rear drain tubes in this topic; good luck:
  4. I had this problem. It is indeed the drain pipes from the panoramic roof - here's a pdf showing how I fixed it and where the tubes come out behind the bumper. karoq drain.pdf
