Yes it’s a great car, getting wall box charger installed but unfortunately it can only charge from 0 to 100% in 4 hrs, to change the colour of the LED lights is simple I will send on instructions tomorrow when I’m in the car. It’s a fun car to drive, electric to hybrid to sport 217bhp

I find the range is getting better, was at 40km this morning, I find driving in cruise control gives the battery a longer again, drive 14km into work this morning and the battery told me I had 32km left so use cruise control. Hope this helps, I haven’t used much petrol since I got it. So far so good

Yes it’s KM, good to know re price so will be cheap to run. I think the Škoda connect looks at your previous drive and works out the next drive based on previous driving habits, did not use heating this morning and the data has changed to 36km. is there an option to source the heat/ac from petrol instead of using the battery?

Ok, I turned off ac/heat and the range went to 36km, I’ll just have to wrap up lol. But yes as you mention the cold affects the battery. Will continue to keep an eye. Enjoying the drive so far so good. 33cent per kw is a bit expensive so have to look at smart rates

Yes, apparently ŠKODA warranty the battery for 8years. I reckon it’s weather related, I will drive in hybrid mode until the temperature pick up, will re test again.

Hi thanks for coming back, yes I was thinking the cold weather could be causing issues with the battery, bought it used and comes with ŠKODA full warranty. I used most of the battery before midnight and charged it overnight, see attached 26km 100% charged, that’s less again 31km v 26. Will keep an eye, but as you mentioned I would expect to get 40-50, I wonder are any iv users experiencing the same issue as it could be weather related, currently charging on a granny lead, waiting to get wallplug installed next week.

Hi guys, I picked up a 2021 iv superb, great car and really enjoying it, but I have just charged it to 100% and it tells me it has 31km cruising range, checked on ŠKODA connect app. Should I be getting approx 40km - 50km. Do I need to bring it to ŠKODA for them to check the battery.

Will do, can I ask the sportline 2021 model I’m picking up on Thursday, it has the older steering wheel / no chrome wheel dial, I’m thinking the sportline had the lower spec in the sportline, no usb in the back usb c in the front, iv automatic and digital cocpit. I take it the car is a 2021 model. Reg is 2021.

Hi, I took the full refund. the garage had no idea, looks like the previous owner fixed it up and traded it in, obviously cash and a botch job as nothing showed up on cartel.ie. Fair play to the garage, when they looked into it they seen something went into the back end and offered full refund straight away. I am due to pickup a sportline on Thursday so looking forward to that, actually just posted something re steering wheel but all in it looks like a great car, has extras compared to old car, digital dash, automatic, and hybrid which will suit me as my work is only 10km away.

Hi guys just to give you an update. I sent the car back to the dealer and they rang me 2 days later to inform me that the car was involved in a crash, and they offered me a full refund.

See pic, that type of steering wheel is in the one I’m looking to purchase. It doesn’t bother me but just wondering why it doesn’t have the chrome one.

Hi guys, just a quick one. I bought a 2021 Sportline 1.5 petrol, I later found out it was in a crash and managed to get a full refund. The superb had the Sportline steering wheel with chrome wheel. now I’m picking up a different sportline 2021, but the steering wheel does not have the chrome wheel. I live in Ireland so it could have been an extra option. Or is this because the Škoda is an older model. I went for sportline IV model. My crashed superb had the older analog cockpit and the new one has the virtual cockpit. You would expect this to happen a car that is 15years old not a 18month car, I will argue with them, it’s hard for them to say it’s chipped as where it is located at the back but I’m sure I’ll get all sort of excuses. is it cheap to get it re lacquered, would probably have to leave it in somewhere to get done. Only have the car 4 weeks so it’s crap tbh.

Hi Guys, I bought a 2nd superb sportline, registered 2021. I noticed a couple of marks on the boot when I was cleaning the car a few weeks ago but when I cleaned it today I can see that area has peeled, and other marks similar but I reckon that will also peel. See attached pbotos, only noticed it on the boot. Should this be covered with warranty.
