  1. My 2018 octavia do not alert me of low power in Key. Can this be turned in the car menu or with vcds? 2 times my Key has run out of battery, with no warning in the dashboard..
  2. Latch inn tailgate changed, not genuine. Latch on chassis (that pull tailgate in) changed, not genuine. Handle/button exterior tailgate change, used genuine part. Right strut changed before summer, hall sensor terror in vcds, not genuine, has worked fine untill now. Hight calibrated with button on tailgate. It work fine in 1 of 10 openings. Vcds show no errors. When it dosen't work, the latch on chassis don't move into "open tailgate" position when opening tailgate. Key, interior button or handle on tailgate giver same results.
  3. 2018 octavia Replaced one strut last year due to error code. Now: Vcds giver no fault codes. It often only opens by about 30cm before stopping. It's the same if I use the remote, the dash button or the tailgate button. Works about half the time. Now I have replaced the exterior button on tailgate, the latch it self and the the latch attached to chassis. No change, but I can now see a related fact: when it opens correctly the powered "close it tight" latch moves immediately as the hatch starts to open. When it fails, this "close it tight" latch opens after a delay or not at all. Can this be a relay issue? Hear a relay clicking on left c-pillar, both when working and not. Found videos on YouTube from another dude with same problem: Working (https://youtu.be/8ARv9X4-zNk) and bad scenario https://youtu.be/OcXeAglfhNk.
  4. Did you find a solution to the problem?
  5. Hi What was the solution to this? I have the same issue wih my 2018 octavia.
