Scratched gearbox - how to replace it?
Hey, do you have some guidance or tutorial about how to replace the knob? Mine is also scratched like you, In aliexpress they sell it relatively cheap but I don't know if I would be able to install it by myself... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006827395757.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.3.9627qmdsqmdstj&algo_pvid=c768ea8a-7dd6-4a91-82ff-1fcf725342d4&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A

How to turn on petrol engine when not moving, PHEV users...
Hi, thanks for the info. Yes, its like the MOT but I live in Slovakia, we have something called STK but is basically the same, and here I don't know if emissions will be tested... I live in Slovakia but I don't speak Slovak, I sent an email to the center where the car will make the test they did no get any answer from them. So I was just wondering, just in case....

How to turn on petrol engine when not moving, PHEV users...
Hi, Have a Superb iv PHEV and I have a stupid question. Next week I have to go to the mandatory technical and emissions test on my car, and I don't know how it will be with the "emissions" part. The car, when you are stopped, as long as you have 1% of battery, turn off the petrol engine. I use the car 95% of the times in electric only. I have spent only 2 out of 8 lines of petrol, and I drove nearly 1.800 km (I charge it every day and I drive almost always, distances where I can go 100% electric... sometimes I did longer trips and sometimes I activate the petrol engine on purpose the last couple of km to make it work and don't be for longer periods waiting and to don't keep the same fuel in tank for ages) I can put the "sport" mode and petrol engine would start, but for this I have to move the car, once stopped, petrol engine is off again. Car does not have auto-start-stop to disable. Or at least I don't know how to. My question is, how they could test the emissions of the car while stopped, if petrol engine would not wok...? Would they treat it like a electric car and will be skipped, even when I have a not only electric engine but a petrol one too? I don't want to looks like stupid if they asked me to turn on the petrol engine to check the emissions and I have no idea how to do it. Thank you all for the support!!

Superb iv electric range.
Hey, what are the "conditions" to change from hybrid to EV? Sometimes, I press the EV button and get the message that can not be done at the moment or something like that. When I have enough battery, of course. Sometimes, I have to stop the car completely if I want to change from hybrid to EV. But when I drive on hybrid in the middle of the road at 100km/h, the car automatically sometimes changes from hybrid to EV on the way, without having to stop...so I don't understand. I also do like you do, being "interactive" with the car and using the driving modes accordingly to be as much efficient as possible, depending on where I will be driving and for how long.

Superb iv electric range.
I use the 3 pin cable daily. If you have a relatively new house, it should not be any issue with the wiring. However if you have an old electricity set up, then would be a different story. I keep the other cable in the trunk in case some public charges does not have the cable and just the socket.

Fully agree with everything, I do same use as you, almost always on electric... with the peace of mind that we can do a over 1000 km trip without having to beg for a socket. To be honest I was expecting a bit more range but I got my car in November and im aware cold weather affects to the battery performance in any electric car.
