Headlights dazzling other road users?
I have a 2023 Scala Monte Carlo with the LED Crystal Lighting headlights (not Matrix). I've noticed an increase in other cars flashing as though I have my full beams on at night, and especially in the rain. The lights are self levelling, so I can't adjust them. Am I blinding everyone else? Anyone else have this problem?

Rear Suspension Creaking
I've not noticed any unexpected noise from the steering or brakes. Just the rear suspension. I'll keep an eye on that, though. I'm booked in at the service centre next week, so I will see what they say.

Rear Suspension Creaking
Over the past couple of weeks, the rear suspension has starting making a terrible creaking noise. Most noticeable when someone is getting in and out of the back seats. I've had a look underneath, and all looks in good order with no obvious damage to the suspension. The car is a 2023 Scala Monte Carlo with 7,500 miles. Any ideas before I take it back to the dealers?

Scala - question before buying
Yes, but it isn't where you think it is. Go into Nav, then Settings, Route Guidance, Road Signs, then scroll the settings on Speed Warning. You can choose from display and sound, display only, or off.

Microphone not working
The cars microphone has stopped working in my Scala. I first noticed it when I made a handsfree call a few days ago and the other party couldn't hear me at all. I thought it was just a temporary bug with Bluetooth or my phone, but after repeated attempts to get it working I am at a loss. The voice commands do not work from the from the button on the steering wheel, nor does the voice commands through Android Auto. Has anyone got any advice before I make a trip back to the dealership? I'd hate to go there and find I've missed a setting or something.

VOTE NOW - the UK decides - rubber mats or carpet in your Skoda? Take part in this important poll...
Carpets for a car, every time. Rubber mats just remind me of work vehicles. If I've been out hiking, dog walking, or shooting, I'll be changing out of muddy footwear before I get into the car anyway.

Skoda Scala 2020 - Speed Adjust
Speed adjust is a part of the variable cruise control, isn't it? You use the two buttons on the very end of the stalk to increase or decrease the set speed.

My Skoda app now supports Skoda Scala
I'm sure the app mentioned them before the update. The current version shows you can remotely control the cabins temperature from the app. Is that only for the electric vehicles?

1.0l TSi Scala MPG - seems low.
To add an update, I am now on other side of the 1000 miles mark on the odometer and the MPG has improved noticeably. I am getting an additional 10MPG than I was a few weeks ago on the same journeys. Even in sub-zero temperatures in the dark. I'll update again if I see further improvement.

My Skoda app now supports Skoda Scala
Will the app have all the features for the Scala? Will I now be able to remotely turn the heating and heated seats/steering wheel on to make the car all warm and defrosted before I leave the house?

Original speed and load ratings?
My Scala has the same engine/transmission setup as yours, but 18" wheels. It still has the factiry fitted tyres and the load index and speed rating is 90 V. I imagine the load index differs due to the different tyre profile, but the speed rating should be the same for both. Skoda do claim a top speed of 125mph, for the Scala with the 1.0l Tsi with a DSG. This does fall within the H ratings speed bracket, so should be suitable and legal for the car. They probably use the V rated tyres from factory due to buying in bulk and fitting the same to all variants of the Scala, regardless of engine size.

1.0l TSi Scala MPG - seems low.
Most journeys are around 20-30 miles. Quite hilly area, and it was during a cold snap, which might explain a bit of it. And although I've been trying to drive conservatively, I have a natural tendency to have a heavy right foot. Good news is that the MPG is improving (low to mid 40's so stilp not great). Whether it is the slightly warmer weather, me adapting, the engine wearing in, or something else, I can't say.

1.0l TSi Scala MPG - seems low.
Mixed highway and rural, with a little bit of urban driving. No stop start traffic. I'm just reading off the onboard computer. I'll be doing a brim-to-brim measure when I next fill up. I was wondering if this was the case, even though run-in periods are a thing of the past. I'll give it a bit more time and see if it improves.

1.0l TSi Scala MPG - seems low.
I've recently bought a Scala Monte Carlo 1.0l 110 TSi DSG on a 73 plate. It's only got around 350 miles on the odometer. I'm only getting between 30-35mpg in mixed driving. This seems fairly low, and nowhere near the 47-49mpg that Skoda claim it should achieve. Will the fuel consumption improve after a few more miles are driven, or is this something I should flag up with the dealership? What MPG are other Scala owners getting?
