I'm looking to get a pre facelift VRS. I've found a pretty good specced one. Are the diesels less reliable than the petrol version and does it feel less 'sporty'? I've previously had a facelift petrol and really liked it.

I got the dreaded warning to fill up washer fluid. It appears that there is a leak coming from the front right of the car (driver's side). What could be the cause and will I need to have the front bumper removed to investigate? Despite the leak, windscreen washer jets still squirt out liquid and work fine. Need to fix this issue as am looking to sell the car soon and besides this, has been absolutely flawless.

If it's not super hard or expense, I'd like to retrofit the digital cockpit into my Mk3.5 (facelift) vRS245. What parts will I need? I've got the 9.2" infotainment screen and CANTON auto if that helps.

I've recently acquired a MKIII Octavia vRS245 that has always been serviced by Skoda, so was able to obtain a full digital print out of its service history. Now that it is out of warranty, I'd like to service it at my local independent VAG workshop. Will they have the ability to update the digital service records associated with my car or will I have to maintain paper invoices only as a record?

What are the main differences between the pre facelift and facelift vRS models? Specifically in Australia. is it equivalent to the MK7 to MK7.5 GTI updates? I’m specifically looking for a model with the front diff (as per the GTI performance pack models).
