MK3.5 vRS washer fluid leak from right (driver's) side of front bumper

Featured Replies

I got the dreaded warning to fill up washer fluid. It appears that there is a leak coming from the front right of the car (driver's side).

What could be the cause and will I need to have the front bumper removed to investigate? Despite the leak, windscreen washer jets still squirt out liquid and work fine.

Need to fix this issue as am looking to sell the car soon and besides this, has been absolutely flawless.

The washer reservoir is on the left hand side of the car, so it's not coming from the reservoir.

Do you have headlamp washer jets (some Octavia's have those even with Halogen headlamps, my previous Elegance did)?

Yes, I do.

Then I suspect the leak is related to the connection  to the right side headlamp washer, you may be able to access it by removing the wheelarch liner (someone may be able to confirm or deny that suggestion).
