Hi, I have a Samsung S21, Android version 14. When I connect the phone via bluetooth to the car ansd play songs on Spotify its all fine. But when I increase the volume above a certain level, the front speakers starts to crack and the bluetooth connection is being cut and re-connected. I need to lover the volume in order to have a good bluetooth connection. Why is this happening? I have not tried with Iphone yet. This is annoying.

Hi, I have noticed fogging in headlights. I assume its normal for Xenon/LED lights. Where are the ventilation holes on the hedlight? Please, point out in the attached picture.

Was the issue solved? In my Octavia MK3 MY 2020, the navigation cannot be displayed at the SAT screen and VR display åt the same time. If the navigation is on the SAT screen, only a compass is showing in the VR display. There is a mirror button on the SAT display (MMI) to shift between navigation on the screens. I thougt my was broken, but no sir, you need to shift screen.

Guys, today something happend. My idle behaved exactly as my Golf 1.5TSI. I started the engine, idle RPM went up to 1000. Then dropped down to 750 RPM, with AC heater ON!! Could not hear the engine running at all, love it. I will inspect this tomorrow again. If it behaves the same, then maybe it has sorted itself out. I will feedback you tomorrow.

Hi, i have a Octavia 1.5TSI facelift (MY 2020). I probably have the trunk ajusters that the people are talking about in this forum. But Im pretty sure I hear a droning sound in lower speeds. One thing I have noticed, when driving and turning my head 90 degrees to the side (one ear aimed towards the trunk compartment) I hear like the trunk is open. You know the feeling lite a window is slightly open. Maybe I need to adjust my trunk?? I have owned the car for 2 weeks, when I test drove it, I could not hear the sound (it was raining that day). Sometimes I just want to burn the car to the ground when I hear road noise, droning etc. Feels like the sealings are not door sealing enough as well.

I have not had any issues with my Golf. I know that the VW cars in generall have more sound insulation, but the vibrations in my Octavia when idle, comes from the "higher" RPM. But seems to be OK. Do you have a 1.5tsi Octavia?

Yes, same in Sweden but we have every second year after 3 years.

Pretty shure I have the ACT system, "eco" symbol shown in the dash when driving. I will double check by removing the engine cover and check ignition coils. I feel like it does. I can hear that the engine is on. due to sound and vibrations. I own a 1.5TSI ACT DSG Golf 7.5, year 2020. In D and S, the RPM is 750RPM does not matter if AC heater is ON or OFF, still the same RPM. Feels like the engine isnt even on sometimes, really quite and seamless.

Inspection every second year (Sweden). Where mechanical parts are inspected and emissions measured, i.e motor vehicle inspection. This exist for all countries in EU. Since the UK has existed, I dont know the rules for you.

It does matter, too high idle RPM generates unnecessary vibrations to the cabin and environmental **** that could make the car fail at inspection. With AC heater fan OFF my car idles at 750-800RPM. With AC heater fan ON, 1000RPM. I find 1000RPM to high, but maybe its OK. Just wondering because a VW Golf with similar engine idles lower.

Thats correct. Simple question for 1.5TSI owners. Whats your RPM in cold start, with and without heater fan active? You are right. But I seek to know idle RPM for 1.5TSI engine. And that engine is Euro 6 per default.

Hmm okay, dont know if the manufacturer has done any modofications to the idle engine and the spec for it to have higher RPM. It would be good to compare 1.5TSI from year 2018 (i.e after facelift)

With ac and heater OFF, mine is at 750RPM, as soon as the AC and heater are turned on, it goes directly to 1000 RPM. How come yours is not going higher? I mean, I like that. From which year is your Octavia?

Yes, mine is also in that RPM range, with AC heater OFF.
