I'm also having problem with bottoming out suspension on bad surface, I suspect that front struts are not the best condition and springs have seen better days. The only way to find that out is by removing each of them and inspecting struts..

Hello, I have skoda superb 2018 l&k 2.0tdi 140kw 4x4. Dcc. What size springs is being used originally and is there any aftermarket springs same length, just harder? I don't want to affect height of the car.

I found that I can buy these at 150EUR per piece front and 160EUR back. So it's not that bad.

About the zinc inclusion I called the Skoda worker and he also mention that it is 12 year guaranteed, and I said ok, then fix it, because I know for sure that it is only 3 years warranty for paint. So he called another employee and he also said that it is only for 3 years. About inspections done by dealers - basically none, they did not see that the front fender is painted, front windows damage and car was needing oil change in 22 days or 1000km I think they just buy the car and sell it.

Wanted to share my experience with you, could not find this on forums before. I was looking to buy Skoda Superb and wanted light color. Checked one Grey / Beige car 2019 and it's paintjob was with defects two of the rock chips were already rusting, found out that the lower part (inside door) was painted very thin 40 microns. And I found zinc inclusion on both sides rear door lower part. They were in multiple places, some starting to show rust. Then I took a look at two black superbs and only on one I found trace of zinc inclusion same place but it was minor looking only 1 spot. Overall the black color was thicker, and even though one car had million rock chips only 1 was having rust signs.

Hello, I'm using carvertical now it shows that car has been repaired in front 1000-1500EUR. Is there any place where I can buy full history? I would like to see detailed information about this crash (what's fixed). Maybe someone works in Skoda, and have access to this data, for some reward. As I understand car have been repaired in official dealership, so only taking off bumper and painting it would cost 500EUR. Anyway when buying car I will check it throughly but I cannot see whats under bumper without taking it off. PS I have seen some paid apps giving full information, I just don't know what they are called. Help. Thanks

Yes, I am aware that DCC lacks the capability to modify height. That is the reason for my inquiry.

So, is it possible to increase ground clearance by changing springs for skoda superb with dcc? What kind of manipulations should be done to dcc system through vdc?

Hello, does anyone know, does these two share the same radar and software for the ACC? I felt like Passat acc was a bit smoother in city than skoda superb. Adaptive cruise control.

Thanks for your reply, your problem sounds like bad solenoid. Not very pricy, just that you have to open transmission to change it, plus service it as well. As I've read it's because they get dirt inside and fail, I guess that's unfortunate. I'm more worried about mechatronic change its 1k atleast just for parts. I'm also not buying new car, so not so sure about guarantee.

I'm looking to buy Skoda Superb 2017-2022 2.0 TDI FWD or AWD, my question is what kind of DSG transmission does FWD have there is DSG6(?) And DSG7(DQ381). How can I tell what transmission is there? DSG6 is as good as DSG7? I know that the AWD is going always be stronger transmission, DQ500 or DQ381. Did not find any topic dedicated to this, please help.
