  1. That's really good for a 2.0 diesel 👌
  2. That's my current. Bit better than I remembered. 607 miles ÷ 6.4 = 94.85. Let's call that 95 kWh at 9p per kWh which is £8.54 worth of electric (I understand there's a little in wastage that I can't account for) 607 ÷ 92.9 = 6.53g of fuel which I would say is 24.7L. At £1.32 per litre that's £32.60. This looks spot on because my fuel guage says exactly half a tank. So £41.14 ÷ 607 miles is 6.8p per mile. I know if I drive solely on electric power it works out around about 3p per mile or better.
  3. The single trip was a full charge of the battery and I had 3 miles left at the end. I used that later to pick up my son from nursery but it was over 2 hours after so didn't add onto the data. I worked out that it costs less than 9p a mile based on the BG EV tariff price and the cost of petrol combined. Costs me less than £1 to fully charge the battery between 00:00 and 05:00 Edit: I do a lot of electric only driving, but I also drive long distances to rifle ranges for competitions and the longer the journey you do in a PHEV the less battery you've got to increase your MPG but if you do 40 miles a day (or even 80 in the new superb iV) then you can expect that kind of combined range as shown in the single 39 mile trip. I should also add that I live in Wales and the 20mph speed limit is very energy efficient for EV driving.
  4. Mine's a 1.4 iV but the photos don't show my best. Only the best from the last refueling. My current refuel is about 91mpg with just under half a tank left and 560ish miles done but I haven't photographed that:
  5. Hi all, Just wondering how my fuel economy compares to other's. I'm interested because I bought this car 2nd hand. It's ex-fleet and had 103k on the clock. It now has 107k so I've done a bit of mileage since I got it in February. The electric range varies depending on the temperature but when fully charged its usually 29-31 miles. It's said as high as 34 before but it's a rarity. When I got it it would only charge to 25 miles of range. I'm not sure if this is because of the weather or if I'm a more economical driver than the last owner. I use my car for mostly local driving with 1 to 4 "long trips" over a month (80-100 miles). Since I last refuelled I'm sat at 85.9mpg and 7.4m/kWh. That's over 764 miles and I've still got 140 miles petrol range. I charge the battery once or twice a week usually. Do you get similar?
  6. Thank you, I've sent an email back RE booking in 👍
  7. Ah, right. That makes it worth the trip up then. Is this a while I wait kind of procedure?
  8. The guys at East yorkshire suggested that I shouldn't do this one DIY because it needs multiple resets. I live in Cardiff and they're not much cheaper than Skoda doing it. Not once you factor in the petrol to Yorkshire and back anyway. I'm booked in for April and they'll be doing a HV battery seal recall fix at the same time 🤷‍♂️
  9. Thanks guys I'll give them a call tomorrow 😍
  10. None of it makes any sense to me. I think I have MIB2.5 - It's a 2020 Superb in SE Technology trim but I could be wrong. In case anyone reads this in the future, Skoda want £99 diagnostic fee and £158 to download a software patch if required.
  11. I take it yours was done under warranty. Mine is not in warranty, bought it 2nd hand 3.5 years old.
  12. Did anyone give you an answer on this?
  13. Morning all, I once uttered the immortal line; "I'll never drive a Skoda". Having had an Octavia hatch and until recently a 23 plate octavia Estate I can honestly say I'm a convert. I'm ready to head to the train station to pick up my 20 plate Superb iV. Ex fleet, just over 100k miles in SE Technology trim. I'm very excited! I'm really looking forward to the drive home from Liverpool to South Wales. I've wanted a superb for years but it's never been on my company car list. Now I'm redundant I can finally have one. She's like new inside and out. I know 2 people that use an iV for their company car and they never charge theirs. They're Approaching 100k miles themselves and they say their car performs brilliantly. I'm dreading the 2 trains and a bus to get there but it will be so worth it!
  14. I will say though that I get 35-40 mpg on short trips, which now that I'm a stay at home dad is pretty much all the time.
  15. I currently drive the 2023 1.0 mild hybrid estate. Its a cracking little car and it has some poke for a 1.0. You can push 60mpg on long trips and it's super comfortable. The interiors on Skodas are way better than Ford's. Ford just feels like a teenager dreamt up the design in an afternoon IMO.
