  1. Not too sure on details but from what I understand the battery invertor uses a heat exchanger that is also connected to the air con. On mine there was a leak between the 2 sides and the coolant and ac refrigerant we mixing and leaking. They have replaced the heat exchanger now so hopefully thats fixed it. As far as price goes I dont know as was done under warrenty but did have a quick look at the part and was around £900 if that was the right part.
  2. Happened again. Took it into dealer and has had the heat exchanger on the high voltage side changed. Good job its still under warrenty.
  3. Away at work at the moment but will be having a go at taking these off and painting them.
  4. Has only happened once so maybe might be a one off and not do it again but thanks for letting me know. Will just keep an eye on it
  5. Milet. Did you find out what the problem was as mine has just started doing the same?
  6. 350 euros buys you a lot of paint!
  7. I did my Golf R tips and used high temp spray paint and not had a problem. That was 3 years ago. Just key yhe.a bit with wet and dry then primer and a couple of coats of black.
  8. Thanks for the info. Will have a go at getting these off
  9. This is the part I am on about.
  10. New to Octavia and was wondering how to remove the exhaust tips that are in the rear bumper, I know they are not part of the exhauat on one side just a fake tip. I want to remove them and spray them black to blend in a bit more. Any info would be helpful
