  1. Got my car back yesterday. All three recalls were completed. Recall 1 - Saftey recall for heat mat Recall 2 - Software update to Version 1969 to fix a software restart bug Recall 3 - Engine cover.
  2. That can't be right. NTFS is proprietary to Microsoft and these head units are glorified Android tablets. I could understand fat32 not working, did you not try exfat?
  3. I'm sure it is. But am I correct in thinking that there is no piping for the camera washer if the rear wiper isn't installed? I thought the camera washer using the pipework for the rear window washer and is tapped in.
  4. Yes, to on-screen functions. Brightness, gamma, and dynamic lines that move with the wheel all work as expected from OEM. Works in conjunction with my front and rear parking sensors, too. My car doesn't have a rear wiper and, hence, no washer jet for the window, so the camera doesn't have a washer jet to clean. I clean my car pretty regularly, so this isn't a deal breaker for me personally. Unless you're a dab hand at some plumbing I'm not sure any retrofitted will want to take that task on
  5. I booked mine for next week. But was informed there are 3 other recalls outstanding on my car (Including the DSG one) Is anyone aware of what the others could be? 21 VRS hatch.
  6. I recently had a Rear Camera installed in my Mk4 VRS Hatch. I'm tech-confident but not take a car apart confident but found a company which travels and does it on your driveway, which might do well for you https://www.autologics.co.uk/Skoda-octavia-4-Reverse-camera The cost was £600, but I can't fault the lads. They've done an OEM job and have no issues at all. Had it installed about a month now :)
