  1. Sorry, but the mechanic has it down as a crankshaft sensor on his invoice, that's what I looked at earlier before I replied. But in conversations with the mechanic, it was the camshaft sensor that was spoken about. 🙉..dam, that doesn't help you.
  2. Hi, yes all sorted, no issues since. It was the crank shaft sensor, and he also changed an oil pressure sensor (no idea why). The car has been fine since. Only for this original post, it would still be the same. The main skoda dealer could find it, or didn't look to hard. Regards N.P
  3. Hi all, so the latest update, Got my car back on Saturday morning after a week and a half with the expert in vw & skoda engines. He drove it for a while and encountered the errors as per my previous post. So he replaced the crank shaft sensor, oil pressure sensor, and checked the timing belt set up just in case that was off, but it was fine. So drove 300miles or so over the weekend and no problems so far, fingers crossed. Regards n.p

  5. Hi, my Skoda is a 2.0 TDI manual. I'm based in Ireland. The car was imported from the UK.
  6. Hi, I'm dropping it to a whiz kid on skoda, audi and vw diagnostics on Tuesday this week, he's taking it for the week to sus out the problem. The hiccups on the engine are occurring every journey now, so it's getting worse. Needs sorting ASAP. I'll update once it's sorted..fingers crossed..🤞
  7. Thanks Justgenius for the update, I'm near Nenagh, si I'd be interested in getting those details from you for that BMW specialist. Can we private message on this group? Regards np
  8. Thanks for the reply JK7
  9. I'm having the same problem with a 2016 2.0 this Superb. Feels like the engine has hiccups, or like it's not getting fuel. It can do it 2 or 3 times in about 20 seconds, then disappears, not returning for a few days. Occasionally it also starts funny, The engine would keep turning over and not starting, with all warnings lights come on like a Xmas tree. I switch off, and on after 10 seconds or so, and it starts fine. The main Skoda dealer cannot detect any errors on the diagnostics!! Totally strange, and annoying, I went to other mechanics and mates with diagnostic cable an pc, but no one can find the problem. Sure the main Skoda main dealers know about these errors!!! Help needed in resolving, thanks for your post on this issue. Is it down to a camshaft sensor?
