Thanks and what's the part number for this i've seen so many but don't want cheap nasty or second hand tanks i want original new parts and probably get the system flushed

Hi don't know if this has been asked before so here goes my coolant expansion tank looks a little crappy inside although there's no bits or sediment inside i don't know the cars history the coolant still pink but I've noticed when engine is cold and when i top up the coolant lid is a pig to unscrew and a pig to tighten until it clicks I'm wondering if it's worth changing the tank for a new one i haven't used much coolant maybe 400ml over 11 months I know they're not the best pics

Hi i currently own a skoda superb petrol 2.0 tsi with a DSG it's quite punchy prob a daft question but when i put it into sport mode it sounds quite throaty for a 2.0 as its automatically shifting it briefly hits a shade into 6,000 rpm redline a few times for a few seconds is that a bad thing to redline the engine

In a nutshell no skoda claims they don't know what the noise is although they can hear it and the only way to diagnose the problem they said they'd have to take out the entire dash to try and find out which is way too expensive and time consuming so unfortunately i have to live with it everytime i change the airflow that groaning and creaking 🤷‍♂️

Wow its not just a simple empty and refill to me that's a job for skoda 2hrs approx there's no way i'd even attempt that kudos to the guy who took that on and completed it as you said i'll leave it to those who know the extra dealer charge is a guarantee if its not done properly i can see why its 2hrs i believe when the DSG hits 80,000 i think they're haldex clutch plates need replacing also i believe at that milage the timing chain needs replacing i know they're gonna hurt the pocket lol

Not sure this is the right place anyhow i currently own a skoda superb petrol 2.0 tsi sportline i received an email about dsg gearbox oil change as my cars nearing 40,000 so rang them they quoted me £300 odd when i asked why so much was told that's the price skoda set just curious why it's so expensive i'm not trying to be dismissive is it just a case of changing oil and filters thanks for any replies

Did they remove the dash?

I have the exact same issue on my 2017 skoda superb groaning and creaking ac flaps when changing airflow i have raised the issue with skoda they can have a look unfortunately whole dash has to be removed they were willing to go halves on the cost but no guarantee what they find once said dash is removed its a 4hr job of which i have no doubt i'm assuming 2hrs each way at a cost of £400 said they'd knock it down to £200 but if it is something simple as lubrication i don't want to be coming back in 6 months time with exact same problem i've seen its not just the superb its others too i did receive a years complimentary warranty but it doesn't cover this unfortunately
