  1. Hi Berisford Got my payment last week. Contact the team on [email protected] They were very helpful
  2. Ish ?? Took car details to confirm ownership then said she would authorise payment department who should contact me in the next 24 hrs for bank details for bacs payment. Bit like pass the parcel!! Hopefully get sorted tomorrow, not holding my breath though. It's not about the money it's the convoluted promise and customer care that's ****ed me off!
  3. Just a quick update... If you have been promised a good will payment (£200) from Skoda UK it has nothing to do with your dealership. You will need to ring the Skoda UK executive department (customer services) and give them your details Tel: 01135264277
  4. Morning all Can i ask has anyone been promised a good will payment for the delay in registering the new Karoq's due to to dsg gearbox fault and subsequent software update? and have you received any yet. Skoda UK contacted me while i was waiting for the new car to be fixed and promised it in a bacs payment. Since the car was finally handed over on 28 July nothing, nada, communications have gone dark
  5. Yes, same for me. I tend to put mine in sports mode at roundabouts and stop turn junctions. Bit more responsive. When i select eco the dash changes to "E" Had a Mini countyman 2 ltr before and it was great. Dash would tell you D1, D2 etc and miles more responsive. Got Karoq because of more space and more comfortable, which it is but no where near as good a ride. Not a bad car so far just gotta get used to all the dash lights, icons and warnings!!
  6. Morning Berisford Picked mine up on Friday from Marshall's Daybrook. Not a pleasant handover!! Still waiting for communications regarding "goodwill payment" £200. Nothing to do with dealer, Skoda UK. Everythings gone quiet. Several emails requesting feedback. Sorry Skoda, money first before i give my HONEST review. Let me know if you get anywhere and i will do same.
  7. Hi, thanks for replying. Build order doesn't state which tyres
  8. Morning all Sorry, stupid question time again!! I have finally just got my new 2024 Karoq 1.5 tsi se l dsg. Build began sometime last year and arrived in UK end of May. C of C states date of manufacture as 22/04/24 The 2024 brochure states procyon alloy wheels yet mine have the miran. Is this correct? Does anyone know the date the alloys were upgraded or changed? Prefer the procyon but hey ho a wheels a wheel right? Just hoping dealership hasn't swapped them.
  9. Yeah, sorry if my guess caused any confusion or alarm. Just going off what little information Skoda UK were able to tell me, even my dealership were in the dark until earlier this week when a fix magically appeared!. Admittedly the email i received from Skoda UK customer services was a bit vague and they did admit that they weren't very technical!! gist of it was that there is a software fault with 1.5 TSI and DSG and my Karoq was in that group. Lets be honest Skoda aren't going to admit a problem or elaborate any further if it results in negative press are they?
  10. I am still waiting for my Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG to be registered (from June 3rd) When i did some digging and asking Skoda UK was informed that it was a software problem with the new 1.5 TSI & DQ200 gearbox. i'm only guessing that this combination applies to other Skoda models as my friend is also awaiting release of his 1.5 TSI DSG Octavia BUT for the purpose of this thread i will stick to the Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG
  11. Morning all As far as i am being told by local dealer the new registration stop issued by Skoda is for all models fitted with a DSG gearbox. It requires a software update to remedy a fault found with the gearbox going into emergency limp home mode.
  12. Morning all Does anybody know why Skoda have stopped the registration of new Karoq's ? I was supposed to pick up my new 1.5 TSI SE L DSG last week but the dealership stated that Skoda had identified a fault with the gearbox (they didn't know whether it was manual or automatic) No one seems to know why and no information available anywhere!!
