Can i ask has anyone been promised a good will payment for the delay in registering the new Karoq's due to to dsg gearbox fault and subsequent software update? and have you received any yet. Skoda UK contacted me while i was waiting for the new car to be fixed and promised it in a bacs payment. Since the car was finally handed over on 28 July nothing, nada, communications have gone dark

Just a quick update... If you have been promised a good will payment (£200) from Skoda UK it has nothing to do with your dealership. You will need to ring the Skoda UK executive department (customer services) and give them your details  Tel: 01135264277

Ish ?? Took car details to confirm ownership then said she would authorise payment department who should contact me in the next 24 hrs for bank details for bacs payment. Bit like pass the parcel!! Hopefully get sorted tomorrow, not holding my breath though. It's not about the money it's the convoluted promise and customer care that's ****ed me off! 

Doesn't seem very much.  We had to wait 2hrs to collect daughter's Kamiq as the salesguy was off sick and no-one had arranged the car's PDI.  Dealer refunded the cost of the service plan (£249).

Sounds just like skoda when you are getting the car they can't do enough for you make everything easy until you get the car and that's when you have to jump through hoops if there is any issues and tell lies to fob you off as they did with me my car had oil level light on and needed top up so I topped up but didn't want to put too much in so phoned skoda they said bring it in and we'll fill it properly only to be waiting 2.5 hours to top oil up and when i asked why it takes so long I was given a bs story saying that they had to take some out as I put too much in but on the technician report says nothing about taking oil out only needed topping up so why lie and just be truthful. It put me off going back
