Right so I have taken dash out replaced the instrument panel incase of cold solder the gauge still doesn't work whilst dash out cleaned the earth up behind the dials on the bulk head even ran a new yellow cable to sender still no avail please please can someone help me as its frustrating the hell out of me......

Tried that but where is earth connection please ps rear seat ?? It's a pickup thanlyou

Hello all first off you all have been so helpful In bringing me skoda back to life and it's done me really well.... The only thing left to do which I can't get my head around is the fuel gauge... So I have replaced pump as was shot... the gauge worked then stopped then worked ... now stoppe.... so if the engine on or off the thing reads empty though it's not ... also empty light on... now I have tried bridging wires together to get the gauge to read full to see if it's the sender and it's not reading so I assume it's somewhere else... how do I get dials out to check gauge ?? And I don't have multi meter but do have the light for chasing live cables of makes sense ?? Please help....

Hello sorry to bring post back soooo fuel pump alive but the gauge is still no show light comes on empty.... even though fuel there..... so please help also any please

Here the 13mm bolt hole is to get through then slides out and has locators fro re insert

Ps it's a 1.6 felicia pickup with no aircon ps thankyou just have hump woth this truck as its had so many gremlins behind belief so is there a pulley too

There is power going there to that red cable and nothing to relay so fuse I will be replacing with new new 1s so fingers crossed 🤞 and thankyou for help as tested continuity on each section only if current flowed through all bored which it did
