  1. I can second this one, exactly same thing happened to me as you described. To be honest I liked the new feel of the steering, for me it was a bit stiff before. Still it's weird this can happen without any kind of notification.
  2. I think you cannot change it there, you have to get to the view where in the middle of the virtual cockpit these consumption data is displayed, use the right scroll wheel there and select the one you want and then go back to your preferred view
  3. It was done last Thursday so less then a week ago... Think I drove around 50 km, I don't think it is related to distance driven, it just happens when it wants to, usually not mid drive, but when you start driving.
  4. So the inevitable happened, after the so called software update the yellow lights are back 😁 To be honest I feel like they didn't even update the car, just tampered something with it and possibly disconnected the battery and saw that the lights cleared and thought job well done. I have the next booking for Jan, guess I'll keep fixing it by myself until then. Those who got the update please post your software info screens, maybe we can build some consensus what is exactly the latest software. (just a reminder on mine not one version number changed after the "update"
  5. Mine is also left hand drive and supposedly got the most recent update today, but still my software and display unit software numbers are lower... Could be maybe related to production weeks as well, mine was produced somewhere in July. Anyway I will see if the issue will come back, so far everything works (altough it has been working for me for the last couple months, I only had to disconnect the battery just once, I just went for the update to hopefully make the fix permanent)
  6. For me they said it could take several days. I brought it in today at 8:00, received a call saying it is ready at 15:00... so max a couple of hours I am guessing this is just some guideline provided from "above" that it COULD take several days but not likely
  7. From this screen, tapping on it just simply shows no system updates available.
  8. Hi guys, i just received back my car from the "software update". Before i took it in a took a photo of the system information screen where it shows the version numbers and after getting it back it is exactly the same. Could someone post here the same screen just to see if there should be some newer version instead of mine... Many thanks!
  9. Mine is scheduled for the update next week, they say I have to leave it for at least 2-3 days as it will be a long update affecting multiple control units. I have done the battery disconnect fix roughly 2 months ago and no issues eversince. Hope they do not mess up something new in the update.
  10. Just to have some comparison, I have crossed borders several times (within EU) and I was using wireless android auto, but for me it never disconnected. Maybe you have some bug or could be related to your phone.
  11. There is no risk, fuses and batteries are meant to be replaced, you can even by aftermarket ones just at a gas station. They are accessible so you dont have tinker with any other parts of the car. They even give you a fuse remover tool in the engine compartment fusebox... BTW removing the fuse didn't work for me, but just disconnecting the battery and then some minutes later reconnecting did work.
  12. Whenever I had my car in the service with the yellow light issues they said they can not fix it as it is a software problem and they will inform me when it is available. They gave the car back to use in the meanwhile, and didn't mention any kind of safety issues or legal problems... (this was official skoda service) If I were you I would just get it back from them and do the fix and use it.
  13. I completely agree with you, but being angry at them will change nothing. Seems like the issue is affecting minority of the people, so it is not a top priority for them to solve it... If they will not fix it then I will. I wouldn't let this cloud your judgement as I think it is still one of the best value for money car. And again, you don't have to do it frequently, maybe just once until the fix.
  14. I see many of you wish to return the car, just to repeat my earlier comment, there is a temporary solution that works. Just disconnect the positive side of battery for 10 minutes and after that everything works as it should. There is 0 mechanical knowledge required, it can be done in 2 minutes with a small wrench. I did mine roughly one month ago and no issues eversince. If you have the car with you and otherwise like everything, I would give it a try instead of possibly waiting for an other new car several months. This will not permanently fix it, but doing it once can possibly last you until the official fix is comig. Just some food for thought...
  15. Hi guys, just small update for the temporary solution, taking off fuse 22 didn't work (by the way it is fuse 22 under the steering wheel compartment not the engine bay...), but disconnecting the battery for some 20 minutes DID WORK (just take off + side, no need to disconnect both poles). Now everything works as it should, most likely the issue will come back at some point, but then you just repeat. Dealer said that Skoda supposed to give the software update until year end... Not really helpful, so if you have the chance do the temporary fix yourself then you can at least use the car as it was intended. After the battery reconnection some yellow lights came up but disappeared after some meters of driving, this is normal and also mentioned in the user manual. Happy fixing and thanks for all the help.
  16. Already did, but I really lost hope and if there is a temporary fix I will do it. I do not want to drive a replacement car until the fix.
  17. I just tried removig fuse 22 but to no luck... I tried while the car was off, i tried when it was opened but not yet started but didn't work. I tried starting the engine without the fuse, obviously it didn't start. I didn't try taking it out while the engine was running, but I don't think it would reset the "alive" car. @bazy do you maybe have some more detailed instructions at which state you should remove the fuse?
  18. Help me out guys, where can you activate trip counters on new 2024 Superb? On older cars there used to be Trip A and even Trip B, but I can't seem to find it. I only see from start, from fueling and long term. Thank you
  19. Same info from my dealer today in Hungary. "known software issue by manufacturer and it will be fixed via some future update" but no ETA yet. Quite sad they cant just fix it via some over the air update.
  20. I am having the exact same issue, I took the car roughly 1 month ago (currently less then 1000km in it) . I purchased ACC from the shop, but from day 1 the distance set feature was not working, I am unable to set it, it always defaults to the middle selection. Starting from last week I am having the same issue on top of faulty ACC, the above mentioned assistant features are not working, everytime I start the car I have the 4-5 yellow warnings and beeps... I am going to the dealer in two days, we will see if they manage to fix it...
