Have recently acquired 2.0tdi 2015 Octavia VRS Combi with 6 speed DSG. CUNA Ordered Service kit from Skoda and arrived with the genuine 0w30 oil. I know the car has been using 5w30 for however long previous. Is there any point in me swapping the 5w30 for the 0w30 with this kind of mileage and 5w30 history? (138k) Car has been minded also. If not il be using Castrol Edge LL 5w30 Any opinion / help appreciated, thanks!

Hi guys, I too am wondering what my gearbox is, I believe it has the code QMN? Sooo DQ250? It is a 6 speed DSG octavia estate vrs. I have been trying to figure it out on my own but I am not 100% sure, any help greatly appreciated! FV65F0T was previous Reg when it was in UK, it is in Ireland now covered in rain.

Hi there, have ordered a service kit for my 2015 2.0tdi VRS estate, and it arrived with 0w 30 as is now recommended......The car has been using 5w30 up until now. I had planned on putting Castrol Edge 5w30 LL into the car. But now im wondering is it worth swapping? Any opinions would be great thank you!
