  1. My engine light never came on, although the DTCs were there. I've not checked since.. just decided to ignore it.
  2. Ye, totally agree, considering removing doors and dashboard would eventually lead to unwanted trim noises.
  3. There's no wiring :\ From what I could gather, installing a speaker there would require a lot of effort, and it would include dismantling the dashboard.
  4. I drove 2000km (mostly highway , and at least 4/5/6 regen cycles) since I saw first saw the DTC and it is yet to appear - hopefully it doesn’t.
  5. I bought my used superb last September and the guy had 19" inch wheels (235/45) - found the car super harsh. I was seriously stunned by such low comfort for a superb. 1 month after, I swapped the wheels for 17" inch ones and bingo, super comfortable .
  6. It really doesn't sound normal. Nevertheless, I'll eventually take it to the skoda dealer for something else and ask about this also. Will post an update then. thanks
  7. Hi @johnny cabbage head, Greetings Do you have an update on this topic? Thanks!
  8. Hi @BATI2TA! Greetings also from Portugal It's been around ~3 years since your update! I'm now facing the same noise on my 2019 superb 150hp and I'm not completely sure what to do. Do you still have the car? If so, you're still living with the noise and all is well? Cheers!
  9. Hi guys, My 2019 superb is doing this noise. Although I've read the comments above, could someone please clarify if this is something to worry about or should I simply disregard it?
  10. Thanks for you're reply Currently has 215/55/R17 wheels with pirelli tyres. It's worth mentioning that the tyres are the original ones from 2019, but only have 5000km (according to previous owner and backed by the overall visual look). They were kept in proper tyre bags away from the elements (sun, rain) - garage. I'm from Portugal. Thinking about taking it to the shop. I'm just trying to get some input before probably do it, because this will probably be expensive as hell, not sure.
  11. Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. About 2 months ago, I bought a 2019 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI (150hp) - 67k km. The previous owner had lowered the car shortly after buying it new by installing Eibach springs and upgrading to R19 wheels. Visually, the car looked stunning, but every road obstacle, pothole, and irregularity felt like a major jolt. Since I was given the original springs, I decided to switch them back and also replaced the R19 wheels with R17s. Initially, the ride felt slightly better, but over time, it seems to have gotten worse. There’s now a lot of vibration, and I’ve noticed that the car feels unstable over potholes, with the steering wheel moving unexpectedly. Given that the car was lowered and driven on R19 wheels for 4 years, could the suspension components be worn out? For context, I used to drive a 2022 Peugeot 2008, which was much more comfortable. I understand I’m comparing an SUV to an estate, but I had higher expectations for the Superb, as I see it as a more luxurious car. Thanks in advance for your advice!
  12. Is there any update on this topic? I keep seeing this fault on obdeleven but the car works perfectly.
  13. For a non-canton superb, is the wiring there? Would love to add a speaker on the center. Anyone did such thing? Cheers
