    Hi, i phoned my local skoda garage today for a quote on the timing belt, they said it does not need changing until 140,000 miles, i am currently on 106,000. They also said the cost is around £1500! the prices i have seen on this forum range between £400 - £800.

    Hi, first post so go easy. We are looking to use the car for car camping and wondered is there any tips to prevent battery drain. i would be potentially leaving the boot open and connecting a tailgate tent, does the boot light go out automatically, or would i have to disconnect it? Any other tips to prevent battery drain would be appreciated. i have turned off the motion sensor for when the alarm is on. Brad
