    Yes that's correct, the actual drive is from the ICE, but before I put the car into gear, it should remain in electric mode like other hybrid cars I would guess?

    Hi, I have purchased a used Octaiva MK4 1.5 e-tec, 2021. The combustion engine fires up straight away on switching on the car. The car being a mild hybrid, shouldn't it start in electric mode until the need for combustion engine? Looking for a confirmation from other drivers of the same engine. Thanks 🙂
