Looks so kule. I did mine too, only I brought the black badges. Another nice mod is bonnet gas struts.

I took my Octavia to a body shop in Norwich to have all my badges changed to black. I brought them off a guy on ebay at £40.00 for the full set. No issues with the bonnet round logo and the Skoda and Octavia on the rear, however the same problem you had with the rear logo. They tried to apply heat to get it to the correct shape but it snapped. Next the took the original badge and scuffed it up and sprayed it black and clear coat. It looks really good on the car, however they said they were not 100% happy with it and have placed an order for another gloss black badge. I think it looks fantastic.

Just as a foot note to the above, I have the same setup with no sat nav, however if I plug in my Android phone with a USB cable I can access sat nav from my phones Google maps. I can also access all my music stored on my phone, which I can also do using the blue tooth connection. I did buy a card mistakenly thinking it would add sat nav, (It won't) but as above wasn't needed anyway.

I have the very same fault come up on my Octavia and my friend on his Ford Kuga. He needed a new battery for other reasons, but once fitted his start stop worked again. I might try a new battery and see if it fixes my star stop issues as well.

I'm sure this conversion has been done to death, but on the off-chance it's not been noticed, here it is. It's simplicity it's self with only two bolts per side and makes a huge difference to the Access to the engine bay. Oh, and it looks really cool too. Under 1/2 hour to fit and a one person job. I hope this brings something to the table that can benefit others.

Oh, oki doki and thank you Sir. I still have satnav via my Android usb connection so the only loss is a few quid spent needlessly on the card.

I have an SD slot in my head unit so brought a card for my make and model. It arrived yesterday and this morning I installed it. There is no SAT NAV button on my head unit, and after installing the card no difference has been made. Have I made a mistake or does it actually do something I am unaware of.

The glass dropped right down inside the door off the runners. I duct taped the window closed until I could get it to the dealership yesterday. The technician said in his report that some of the clips had broken and should it happen again I would need a complete new unit. £285.00 which prompted me to do some research and Google brought me to your door step figuratively speaking.

Hello Sir, thank you for your welcome. The wind deflectors were from a company called edge visors. My friend has them on his Ford Kuga and had no issues with them. However, he did say he didn't fit the clips, so I'm wondering if that gave his slightly more flexibility. I called a Taxi back to Group 1 Skoda in Norwich and he was telling me VW window Actuators were a bit temperamental. He went on to say he worked in car glass replacement for 15 years and had quite a bit of experience with them as the whole unit has to be replaced. Group 1 Skoda said much the same at £285.00 so the deflectors are destin for the bin I'm afraid lol.

Hi all, My name is Jonathan and I'm in my mid 60's, I've wanted a Skoda Octavia for some time now and finally saved enough to buy a really nice low milage 2018 Skoda Octavia estate in white and now the Taxi jokes have died down I have decided to do a few mods to my car. I have just brought gas struts for the bonnet and have been looking at a gloss black badge kit for my gorgeous white Octavia. I brought wind deflectors for £16 and bumped the glass off the mechanism, which cost £156 to put right. So not an inexpensive mod. I don't want to go to mad with the mods so I thought I might join your numbers to check out what's hot and what's not.
