i have had a Sach pattern part clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder fitted as my car was slipping under load. Drove home from the guy who fitted it and to my horror it was still slipping! To be honest you can drive to avoid doing it but if your lazy and put your foot down low down the rev range then the revs climb and you dont go anywhere? Could it be it needs bedding in? Or could it be something else wrong?

thats what i thought..... they seem to think it maybe either and they need to know???

called car parts for less and they said they need to know if its a sach clutch or luK...???

got quoted £380 parts only euro car parts....TpS told me i can't but from them because i aint trade and GSF quoted about £398

has anyone got the part numbers? as i have heard some vrs's need sach and some another brand?

I only talking about a remapped one... more concern about the torque...mine should be around 280lbft

looking for upgrading my clutch...spoke to my local garage and he spoke to their supplier and they reckoned a standard replacement is tested over 300bhp....he getting back to me on torque. Anyone recommend a sports clutch and if you need to get a dual mass fly wheel...or get a single one

when I plant my foot the revs go up but I don't go any faster for a spit second...recently had a remap...I presume this means a new clutch?

also exhaust is there any that sound nice on a vrs diesel?

Having owned 3 1.8ts to get DV noise you just put a cold air intake and massive cone filer... Is this the same with fabias as i heard a touran and it made a loud dove like noise. Thanks in Advance Joel

i was thinking getting exhaust, bigger intake, injectors, intercooler....or just mapping it and nothin' else...is it worth doing all these mods?

I have a fabia vrs mk1 and just wondered if its worth getting other mods for more power or just get a stage 1 map

I'm sure this has been covered is it worth forking out on a frontmount and other stage 2 mods or just getting s cheeky remap with no mods what are the requirments for stage 1 and stage 2 and is it worth it as i remember people with octy vrs's says get a remap or go the big turbo cuz inbetween is not worth it

My sister has the zetec-s diesel... and fair enough it gets good gas mileage...but lets be honest its gutless at yeast the fabia has a bit of get-up and go...especially after a cheeky remap
