Ha. I've only now read your initial post thoroughly because, again, I had to check whether you or happy24 was the one starting the Thread (Bad memory..)... Well seems to me like we feel more or less the same regarding the clutch..!..

Okay, so I've been playing around with the clutch on my way home to be able to give you more details. I'll try to describe it as good as I can: When I push down the clutch the very first, say, half an inch is soft, kind of loose, and then it "engages" and gives you some resistance. I feel the vibration in that very first bit of soft movement when the engine is actively working at bringing the car forwards. If I am just cruising/rolling/ slowing down and play with the clutch it is barely noticeable, maybe a tiny buzzing or not at all. As soon I pass that initial soft spot and get the resistance I have no vibration in my clutch. The engine has a deep rumbling sound when I drive it, which I make myself believe I also softly sense (when paying attention, nothing uncomfortable or alarming at all) in the car when driving it, like in the steering wheel, when holding the stick.... I suppose it's the same thing that gives the feeling in the clutch. The 3 cylinder turbo engine doing its thing.......

I had similar experience with a sales person at skoda, confirming that my rear brake pads definitely should not look and sound like they did at 1.5 month old and that they should be changed under Warranty, yet the mechanics almost did not change them because he couldn't hear the sound (and the warranty folks would then not accept his change) that day and because he meant that the discs would pass the periodic technical inspection"(?dont know the word in english??). Yet after talking with me he changed his mind and changed them.... Still don't know why... If he was just testing me to see my reaction or....

My guess and feeling is also that it's "just" a "less robust" pedal that somehow transmits the vibration and motion of the engine through the pedal. I am not car expert nor do I have a lot of experience from other cars. So I don't know whether its normal or not.

Yes my 6speed 115 fabia is new ( from dec 23,2024 ) and I have felt it from the beginning. Can't pinpoint exactly when i feel it but I definitely do. My previous car ford ka did not have any vibration or "feeling" in the pedal like this one., It was dead, just a pedal. Only the gas pedal was a bit squeaky Hehe.

My arms are not long enough 😂 anyways, the vibration is strong enough to feel it with my foot :)

I saw this thread and picture before getting my own fabia and honestly thought it just needed a thorough cleaning. But now I have my doubts, because I am already experiencing something similar that I cannot just dust or rub off. I have not used anything else either inside the car than a dry microfiber cloth for the screen. It's approximately 2 months old. I first noticed some spots on the black shiny flat plastic part around the storage hole under the radio and white dust particles around the gearing stick, and then I saw the air vent decor was even worse. I have no idea why it looks like that, and only on one side.....so far....

Left the car at Skoda. I got a call from the receptionist that the mechanics could not hear any squeaking when riding my car.( I I agree, haven't heard it today either probably because it's rainy and wet). I had to go and talk with him. He said if he could not hear anything he could not know if he had solved the issue and the warranty folks would not accept his change of brakes if he has not heard it himself. He could see the grooves but that wasn't anything that would not pass a ..."periodic technical inspection" (??). I told him when and how I experienced the sounds and that was why I noticed the grooves on rear discs. I was not very satisfied with just getting back my car without anything done at all. Several people have seen the pictures and all agree that a brand new car should not look and sound like that already, even his own sales colleague said so. Told him that the alternative would just be me coming back another day when the squeaking returned, probably a "dry day".... 😑... (And annoyed about wasting my days off at the mechanics with a brand new car 😒) After some thinking he asked if I had time to wait, then he would change them.... So this is what I got back.... I played around with the brakes for 1-2 km on my way back and they feel more soft, less sensitive. When I drove the car home the first time and touched the brake we almost "banged our heads on the dashboard" it was sooo prompt when touching 😆. Now it somehow feels more comfortable. Well, I don't know.... Hopefully no more squeaking brakes.

We instantly thought the same: bet warranty won't cover it!!🙄😑.... 🙏🤞... First the stone in the wheel, then a month in I get an ugly black spotted, but luckily quite smal, chip (?) in the windshield on drivers side (covered by insurance but still really annoying on a new car) and now this.... 😞 Here we only have 2 years of warranty on Skoda, same with Ford. Kia brags with 7 years. Big selling point

You are right about that, I was quite sure that the stone squeaking sound came from the front. But noise in a car can fool you pretty bad. Either was I fooled the first time, or they are two different cases. Inspecting the wheels now, the new squeaking must come from the rear. The discs should not look (and sound) like that already, especially not on BOTH sides! Dealer agreed and I will call the mechanics tomorrow. We'll see....

I am of course refering to the two last "rear brake" pictures, that they do not look right compared to the two front ones that are clear and smooth without deep grooves....

My brakes have started to squeak when I park the car and the wheels are all turned. And now it also starts to give off a tiny noise when braking softly straight ahead. 😞 I suppose it has to do with that d*** stone that got stuck.... 😞

I also noticed a different "clutch feeling" in my foot when I changed to fabia. Some kind of tiny vibration. It's nothing wild...just different..I didn't feel anything in the old one when touching the clutch so I have wondered what might give that feeling. Supposed it was because of the three cylinders or the turbo.... but what do I know...

I did read your previous comment and also know that some think it's too small and that the armrest gets in the way of one of the holders. I did search for it back then out of curiosity on my countrys Skoda homepage without any luck. Also google in many ways without finding that particularly insert.
