  1. Sorry for the rogue “does” sneaking into the title of my previous post — apparently it wanted its own spotlight. Titles can’t be edited here, unfortunately 😅
  2. Hi all! I’ve just checked the Škoda update page and a new map update is now showing for my car: “ECE 2026 – verze 26.2”. What makes me hesitate is that this designation looks slightly different from the previous updates I remember seeing, so I’m not sure whether this is the usual full Europe package or a different regional release. Does anyone know whether this ECE 2026 map includes all of Europe, or at least the standard full European coverage including countries such as Spain? I’m wondering whether I should go ahead and install this update now, or whether it would be better to wait for another update in case this is not the full Europe map package. Has anyone else seen the same naming on the update portal and can confirm what it covers? Thanks in advance.
  3. I just wanted to quote the andreiro221's post instead yours, but i failed to ;-p
  4. It's not through the OCU but the GPS-map database. Even if you don't have navigation, you can download the maps from the link I sent you in previous messages and update it. You can also purchase the Online Update for Intelligent Speed Assist from the Skoda Connect store, with a one-year subscription, which updates it automatically.
  5. You can download the maps from here: https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-US Just enter your VIN. Then transfer everything to a USB C memory stick and connect it. There will be no signals from the infotainment system, but drive for a while and the database will update (this works even if you don't have Skoda's own navigation option). There is also an option in the MySkoda app to purchase updates. It is not a large amount, but you can do the same thing for free with this procedure.
  6. I came in looking for this error. The same thing is happening to me (in my case, my car is a 2024 Kamiq). I guess it's a bug on Skoda's website, maybe they are updating the version of the maps available on the website?
  7. Hi: does anyone know if it is possible to simultaneously connect a device to Apple Carplay wirelessly and the car's native BT handsfree system (not Amundsen). If I am connected to Carplay, and I press the infotainment phone button, it asks me to disconnect Carplay to connect the BT device, and vice versa. Regardless of how useful it might be (it is always possible to access everything from Carplay, including the phone app), could this be done? Thank you very much.
  8. Hello everyone! Does anyone know what the two slots in the storage compartment are for? The one on the left seems clear that it's for cards, but the two on the right, I have no idea. Best regards!
