Hi all!

I was trying today to check some update for my maps on the Skoda Update Portal and this is, for the first time, the message i've got.
Are all our maps no longer supported?

Same here I have a 2017 Kodiaq and get the same message. The last time I updated it, about 3 years ago, it found it. Now it looks like they want me to go an pay for it at one of their dealerships! There used to be a non-Skoda website to get theses updates, mibsolution.one. But it seems to be down at the moment.

Latest maps for a MIB2 Amundsen which is what I assume the OP has based on the VIN year identifier can be found here:

I have just checked my car's VIN, and same result 😠. I did update my vRS's SatNav in January, and repeatedly in the past. My vRS is 9 years old this year in autumn, so the cutoff seems to be 8 years.

IMHO this is yet another sharp sell tactics pushing towards disposable cars after a fixed (and too short) period of time, accountants dream but really bad for environment.

The previous SatNav I have used in my Skodas (and still do in the Roomster) was/is TomTom Navigator (using Dell Axim x51v PDA).

After 17 years of use (first in the Mk1 Superb and then the Roomster), which is nearly double of Skoda's 8 years cutoff, I still have ~2 year old maps for it, and while it can be excruciatingly slow planning a route, the guidance and the route options are much better.

Bottom line is, I no longer consider Skoda SatNav an added value for the car, if it goes out of date after 8 years, when clearly, the car can be used for much longer.

It seems that Skoda has come a long way in the last decade... the wrong way that is 😞

My car is an 2019 Octavia.. 6 years old..
My last update was last summer.. but I remember that i checked that website a couple of months ago and everything worked that time.

The cutoff point for new maps is 5 years after that infotainment system was last used in VAG production.

I came in looking for this error. The same thing is happening to me (in my case, my car is a 2024 Kamiq). I guess it's a bug on Skoda's website, maybe they are updating the version of the maps available on the website?

Thanks to all.

BTW, the SUP just went back online with 2024 version. no more errors with my VIN
