Škoda Kodiaq 2019 Virtual Cockpit – Reduce Gauge Size for Bigger Map?
Hi everyone, I have a 2019 Škoda Kodiaq with Virtual Cockpit and I’m wondering if there is a way to reduce the size of the gauges so that the navigation map becomes larger and more visible. For example, on a VW Passat you can simply press OK on the steering wheel and the gauges shrink, giving more space to the map. On my Škoda, I can’t find any similar option anywhere in the menus. I also have OBDeleven, so I’m wondering if this can maybe be coded or activated through adaptations? Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

2.0 tdi oil Consumption
Hello, I have a Kodiaq 2.0 TDI MK1 2019, 110 kW (Stage 1), currently with 88,500 km. The last oil change was in January this year at 77,000 km, and the service used Castrol 5W30. After 11,500 km, I had to add about 0.6–0.7 L of oil because the level was below the middle mark. Is this normal? And what oil do you usually use for this engine? For the next oil change, I plan to use either Shell or Aral. tnx

DSG adaptation (reset basic settings) after oil change
Every mechanic here will say to you change dsg oil every 60 000 km, here Are official 120 000 service interval, but i live in very busy city with lot of speed changes do my interval is cut for a half

DSG adaptation (reset basic settings) after oil change
"I don’t know, some people say that after changing the oil, a DSG gearbox adaptation should be done because the clutches loosen up after a lot of city driving and 60,000 km, which is the service interval. After the oil change, due to the change in viscosity (since the new oil is clean and therefore slightly thinner), an adaptation is necessary."

DSG adaptation (reset basic settings) after oil change
Yes it was Made by mechanic with original oil. But he didn’t make the adaptation. I can start the procedure with carista obd but i wanna ask first before i do some damage? Ty

DSG adaptation (reset basic settings) after oil change
Hi everyone, I have a Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI 110 kW with the DQ381 gearbox, 87,000 km. About 1,000 km ago I did an oil and filter change in the DSG transmission, and now I’ve noticed that in city traffic the gearbox sometimes shifts a bit harshly from 4th to 3rd gear, almost like a small jerk. After the oil change, no adaptation procedure was done. Do you think an adaptation is necessary in this case, or could something else be causing this? Has anyone had similar experience with this gearbox? Thanks in advance!

Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 tdi - Wrong fuel aditive
Hi guys, I have a Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI with 86,000 km. I ordered a few things from my local car parts dealer through their webshop, and among them was a fuel additive. I picked up the order and poured the additive – a 300 ml Datacol – into the tank. Only after I finished, I noticed they had given me the wrong one: it was the petrol additive instead of the diesel version. After that, I went to the gas station and filled up with another 10 liters of diesel until the tank was full, but now I don’t really know what to do next. The shop opens tomorrow, and I will ask them for compensation... Some people tell me I should now add another additive – the Datacol for diesel this time – to dilute the wrong one. Others say I should drive until I use up half the tank and then refill it to the top, while some advise me to run the tank as low as possible and then fill it completely with premium diesel. Honestly, I’m going crazy over this. The mistake is partly mine but also theirs, and I have no idea what the consequences could be or what the best course of action is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Škoda Kodiaq vs Superb back seat space - Help
Hi everyone, I’m in the process of buying a new car and I need your help deciding. Can anyone tell me the difference in rear seat space between the Škoda Kodiaq 5 seat version and the Škoda Superb (model years 2021–2023)? I need to fit two child seats — one behind the driver 9-36kg and one behind the front passenger Isofix base and child seat 0-18 kg — plus an adult (90 kg) in the middle rear seat. In which of these two cars will I have more space and comfort for the person in the middle? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Mysterious Creaking/Squeaking Sound — Only in Specific Conditions (Octavia 3 Facelift, 2019. 1.6 tdi DSG)
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here might have encountered a similar issue with their Octavia Mk3 facelift (mine is a 2019 DSG, EU version, dual-zone automatic climate control). I’ve been chasing down a light creaking/squeaking noise that comes from behind the steering wheel, somewhere near the instrument cluster area. This only happens under very specific conditions: Early morning or late evening, when it’s humid and outside temperatures are between 15–22°C After driving for minimum 5–10 minutes, when the car is warmed up When maneuvering at low speeds, especially when parking or reversing, sometimes when turning the steering wheel Only when the climate control is set to heat (cabin temp set slightly above ambient) The noise stops immediately if I press the “OFF” button on the climate control Changing blower speed or air direction does NOT stop the noise The noise does NOT appear when cooling, nor when it’s hot outside (>30°C) What I’ve done so far: Replaced the V158 temperature flap motor (original part) Verified and retightened all mounts and screws around the flap motor and HVAC casing Lubricated flap gears with silicone spray Replaced the auxiliary belt and pulleys (just to rule that out) Performed HVAC flap calibration multiple times — no errors The blower motor seems fine — the sound feels like it comes from above/behind the steering wheel, not from the passenger side My theory is that this might be some sort of thermal expansion or slight vibration of HVAC components or flaps, possibly worsened by humidity. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could this be related to the V213 direction flap motor or perhaps movement of the HVAC box itself under vibration? Any advice, suggestions, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated! I’m attaching a few videos where you can hear the sound and see how and when it occurs. I want to emphasize again — it happens most often at low speeds and stops immediately when I press the “OFF” button on the climate control. It seems to me like it’s coming from the driver’s side, somewhere behind the steering wheel, but honestly, I’m no longer sure about anything. My mechanic can’t find any faults or the cause of the problem. 3b06835d-1790-483d-81db-0d89fb0db29a.mp43bf45bc6-7957-495e-ac03-739bbb403b61.mp4010008d1-e443-44a3-94ee-14ad7b08ae70.mp4 Thanks in advance! here are more videos7726bb39-75ea-4f1e-9cc4-f1601729fc23.mp4f1a891ba-79af-4899-b399-51aac1dec48b.mp4
