It's not that I don't believe; I don't understand. What is this TPI? How can an update to the firmware fix something like this? Well anyway, I am going tomorrow to drop my car at the mechanic for replacing the DCC shocks, will let him know about the firmware update and see how it goes. if there is something I should note to him, do tell me

i think mine has something making the gears consumption spike and cutting the power, i will try to lube them with grease today, move the backrest back and fourth to see if it will losen and try to do the norming again

maybe something got stuck in his gears and making the power spike and shutting down the motor thaus the error i get on the backrest and not finishing the calibration

Another update, the backrest does respond to the calibration, but at some point when it is going towards the steering wheel, its stopping, then i get the error, but it does respond and trying to do it so the motor is ok and such. Maybe something stuck in his gear? Or something similar? @Cairus what do you think?

here is the error codes i found, also checked in adv mesures, all the other norming position are adujsted and only this is not "standarnized" the motor on Backrest manual works fine and when i try to do norming only on this backrest it is trying i hear the motor for a moment and then stopping and give me "aborted due to malfaction" Address 36: Seat Mem. It got only got to default settings and with VCDS i did return it to default settings The automatic calibration worked also but still no chime or letting me save position

superb style 3 seat memory model drivers my seat memory has been wiped (lets not get why it happened) me and my GF want to put our seat memories into the model, but it wont do anything. on the multimedia when going to car setting -> seats I have the store memory in key (which is turned off and CANT be turned on, probably because of the model doesn't have anything stored yet.) I have followed the manual calibration doing the front up down back stuff, see video https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1ixkHTsE8SA I don't get the chime I suppose to get, I once had this also when I got my car and it did have the chime and we stored our positions and everything was ok. Am I messing up something in the calibration? it does feel like I miss something because I had the same feeling when I did first time unit I got it and forgot.

2016 superb style 2.0 engine ea888 my DRL on the driver side died. the white stripe doesnt turn anymore and to top that the whole system is yellow and not white like it should be because of aging. i have seen not once this on aliexpress that offer the board to replace it the item is around 50$ but buying new headlight is 1400$ here did someone replace it and can say if its taking the headlight out and just replacing the board, or dissasmble the whole headlight just for this small repair is there even a guide maybe here?? thanks!

i will do state that the coolent stopped dropping after yesterday run after i posted this, it didnt drop at all. first of all my superb doesnt have bleeding function in VCDS i checked this morning, we bleed the system by pumping manually the hoses and addidng coolent, then running the car unit the thermostat opens and letting it run in the garage for about 20-30 minutes. second, i did turn the heater without A/C in my car to bleed the pipes in the heater today while going to work and coolent level rose up now. seems like its all bleeding that took a lot of time, plus probably the cap probably needed replacement. today i will have another 2 hour drive, and i will keep monitoring the system and see coolent tomorrow morning

superb 2016, 2.0 liter ea888 engine 203k KM a little backstory of what happened. i had waterpump failure, towed the car to my mechanic. the mechanic suggested replacing the whole coolent system because everything was old and i agreed as i want the car to last long. he replaced these items: main waterpump heat pump auxeliry water pump coolent tank all the hoses coolent. next week my radiator cracked and got replaced too. in another words the whole system got re-newed :) he said coolent should lower for about few days because of all the air and stuff after he replaced the radiator and did a pressure test (that i didnt see what he did exactly). it has been 2-3 weeks from my last visit, the coolent WONT STOP GOING DOWN! no leaks under the car, i even replaced the coolent cap because i heard some people said it helped. i got no headgasked/engine block problems from what the mechanic said do someone got a hint??? its driving me crazy and i cant get any ideas. i adding some pictures from the repairs and such

yes it is really hot here and not to mention the car is black. maybe the constant heat can make this crack pop-off more frequantly but, the engine coolent is at 105C mostly so i find it a bit odd anyway, i see that i am not the only one who had this if the part is so popular

well yesterday i was crusing the highway with my girlfriend on the way to a movie, suddenly the "check coolent level" on red alert poped. went to the side, opened the hood, to my eyes the whole engine is coolent. noticed a place that the coolent is leaking really bad, well it was a plastic hose to my suprise. after somehow getting the car to a safe place at my girlfriend parents we managed to get a backup car to the movie. when we were back, we eventually found this part is easy to install and take off, the problem? this part seems to be a disease in this engine, parts everywhere, aliexpress, local part stores, price? around 80$ for OG vw, 40$ for 3rd company. the part is made from plastic, and it is a bit shame that THIS part is really vulnerable in the cooling system for this kind of car in its price point. sharing some files from the incident video_2025-06-29_10-33-11.mp4

should i change my oil in 200k DQ250?
I actually did the gearbox oil change alone and it was pretty easy, i just used the filter as a filling hole instead of getting the tools for the filling. It took a while to finish but it was worth it
