Brand new 2025 Superb Estate - air conditioning not working and apparently leaking
What else? Dealer should try and tow the camping rig for 100 kilometers to check the towing hook is properly assembled and working? Or do 100 kilometers to see if the sensors are behaving correctly? Nobody will drive your car when it was tested already by the factory and creating a line which equipment or function should be or not be dealer tested is as fluid as opinions of all the car users. All of this is factory dependent. If factory cannot do it right then you make warranty claim. And yeah, of course it's bad for consumer but it is what it is.

Brand new 2025 Superb Estate - air conditioning not working and apparently leaking
Supplying dealer has no questions to answer. Be reasonable. Dealer also does not fill the AC unit, car comes pretty much ready to be driven from the factory. Things break, even new ones, there is always a percentage of faulty parts or material with defect in them that does not show up during QC on the supplier side. Use warranty or any other law available and applicable to get the AC fixed.

Software failure not so Superb
My car was produced April/May, did over 5k kilometers so far and 3-4 times of Android Auto not working/disconnecting. Infotainment itself hanged so far two times only and was reset via holding the off screen button. No ignition restart required. After the Golf8/Octavia 4 infotainment disaster, this thing is useful, well executed and solid. Oncoming vehicle or obstacle sensors are different thing and they are more sensitive than in Passat B8 so one needs to adapt to their behavior.

No album art showing on tablet?
If anybody wants to check, edit and batch manage album art cover to be embedded into the file I suggest using Mp3Tag editor from mp3tag.de

2 Qs: LED matrix headlights for driving abroad, and random internal roof light issue
There is no downloadable manual for Superb, only the web version or printed one delivered with car. The web version works almost fine, seems the webpage design doesn't scale properly on widescreens but it is usable. There is option in the Headlight menu to toggle left/right hand drive. I don't think this will switch on automatically when crossing the border but maybe someone else will clarify it. As for the roof lights - seem they are faulty. I did not had any problems with them. Touch switches them on and off, holding finger while the light is on will dim the brightness. No issues so far.

Boot mat/protector
There is no OEM accessory like that for the trunk. My suggestion would be to look for a trunk cover for dog. Skoda has it for the rear seats only, maybe some pet related companies would make similar items for cargo area?

Massage function fault
Seem they are broken, there is no emergency deflation system or anything like that built in. If the massaging function does not work at all from the infotainment menu and you cant do anything with lumbar support controls then you need to go to the dealer for warranty repair (seat replacement in practice).

Superb mk4 Sportline launched
Received my Sportline, manufactured between April/May 2025. DCC is noisy, after all introduced fixes by the factory so right now it is a feature of the new Superb4 probably until facelift model would appear. Otherwise I am very happy coming from B8 Passat. Interior quality is good, no cracks or whines, completely silent on the road. Materials are nice quality besides everything is sad black inside.

Lumbar support adjustment controls located on the seat does not work?

Tyre Pressure 2024 Mk4 Superb
Either run tires with pressures suggested by the sticker in regards to load or run them however you want in relation to desired fuel consumption and/or handling or comfort. If you are sure that insurance company will deny your claims in regards to physical properties of inflated tire that changes air pressure in relation to the temperature and wheel naturally bleeding air then maybe it is a good idea to change the insurance company.

Suitable air freahener
I was wondering that myself and for the front vents I am out of luck with common brands like AmbiPur, Airwick etc. Figured attaching one to the front will be either impossible or it will end up in damaging the vent ribs so I ordered AP and Milefiori car refresheners and will insert them into the rear vent. From the videos I saw it seems Milefiori has aluminum decor plate that holds the mounting clip in the middle and you insert two pieces of scent on the sides. One could 3D print the mounting clip with wider jaws for Superb front vents if has access to someone smart knowing how to design and print it cheaply.

Gearbox Response
Just go to the dealer and drive a demo car. How somebody could objectively review the response in relation to your particular needs and feeling? All VAG cars since WLTP has more or less lagged throttle pedal response and DSG software focused on low emissions and lowest fuel range possible. For some its ok to daily drive it in D, some need S mode and others doesn't touch DSG or tune the gearbox software in external workshops.

MK4 2.0 TDI engine & transmission codes, 4x4 drive type
DQ381 for all TDI and 2.0 TSI models in Superb 4. Haldex for 4x4 models. The more often you change oil the better. Many people change the oil in DSG around 45-60k km. In Haldex even more often, especially on used cars. If you plan to sell the car after 3-4 years or 120k km then factory intervals should be in most cases enough, depends on the warranty period. I would advise changing engine and gearbox oil more often if you plan to drive it longterm without serious issues. The moment something breakes down with the engine/transmission out of warranty, be prepared for high maintenance costs if done by decent service workshop.

Skoda Superb IV Check Engine light
Intervals could depend on the region and policy. For example TSI cars leased from VW Bank with full service plan often has 30k kilometers or 1 year for TSI which we drive in the fleet. There is also another variable that the car system schedules intervals based on the car usage. You can always ask your dealer about the service plan for your particular purchase.

Skoda Superb IV Check Engine light
For the user there is only electronic oil level check. The bayonet is missing from the factory intentionally and the dealer has it or you can buy one online but not sure which model is for 1.5 TSI particularly to show the correct level.

Skoda Superb IV Check Engine light
Various dealers in many different countries can act differently regarding the same issue as proven by many cases on various Skoda forums in multiple languages. Some will say the DCC is faulty, some will say they are like this from factory, some will swap shock absorbers without mountings, some with mountings, others deny the claim multiple times and you're out of luck. The issue with oil sensor is not popular (yet) and not all dealers know about it. It could be only a certain faulty batch of sensor that could pop up in different markets, nobody knows yet. There is no official statement or service plan for this yet so any dealer can try to work it in his own way.

Skoda Superb IV Check Engine light
You can easily check the oil level at the dealer with the service bayonet. This issue was reported in different markets and the sensor was faulty. Pretty much there was no issue regarding oil levels in TSI engines in last year's and they do not leak fuel into oil so it cannot suddenly materialize if the amount was correct from the start or when service was done.

Dash cam that connects to rear mirror USB C port
Most of the world is able to implement charging via USB C protocol, from action cams, dslrs, mobile phone, power banks, led flashlights, chargers but chinese manufacturer is too lazy to implement usb c standard properly, did the half assed job and for some reason this is Skoda fault? This is stupid statement.

What do you mean "too much"?

Software failure not so Superb
Welcome to modern VAG cars. Unless you want and have option to return the car, you will have to live with it. We stopped reporting sos and infotainment issues to the service because it was a waste of time unless real crucial feature was missing or malfunctioning.

Key symbol in cup holder
I think noone does mention it since you get plenty notification about dead key battery and you have spare keys that will still work after your main will be dead. As Cedwing mentioned, this is the spot for the key to unlock the immobiliser when the key itself cannot do it wirelessly.

How to work the Massage function?
SEL/LK/Sportline has advanced massage system with multiple modes. SE has basic lumbar "massage" function.

Media player doesn’t resume playing the same that was playing on exit
Have you checked your mobile phone AA settings to uncheck resume media? (Start music automatically) Maybe if you turn it off it will work. Or disabling Media playback in BT. Maybe when the car connects to BT device it reverts last resume state to the phone and if nothing is played, you loose resume data on other sources. Anyway it's a VAG infotainment, don't expect such small but usefull features to work. They are billions euros worth behemoth but hiring top of the line programmers that would actually develop working system for the car? That would be too easy in Germany.

Lower Door Mirrors in Reverse
I meant, if you selected left or right mirror, then in reverse the selected mirror should lower itself. If you have mirror knob on neutral or heating position, then it will not engage if I recall correctly.
