  1. How long did it take to process? I sent a rejection letter on 25th Feb. It wasn’t until 20th March the garage submitted the cancelling paperwork to Škoda. I haven’t heard back since despite trying my best to get an update.
  2. I’m in the same position so also interested. I wrote to the garage to reject the car, at first they declined this was possible, then told me I could only reject it after they had had a chance to fix it, and only after the software fix had become available. Finally persuaded them last week, with a little help from ŠKODA, that they needed to accept the rejection and they are responsible for processing the rejection.
  3. I purchased a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately all driver assist functions aren’t available. According to my local garage there isn’t a software update available to fix the issues. I’ve started the rejection process.
  4. Unfortunately I have the warnings, but also cannot enable any of the assistance systems - ACC, Speed Limit, assistance etc. I get a yellow warning and a message when trying to enable along the lines of ‘functionality not available’
  5. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Thanks all, I think I’m going to try and reject it as I’m within the first 30 days so hoping it might be more straightforward (I’m sure it won’t be) It’s frustrating as I like the car and there aren’t many options in this bracket offering the same value.
  7. I picked up my SE L four days ago and had the same software version. Unfortunately driver assist errors appeared on the drive home from the garage and now all assist systems are unavailable. I took it into the garage yesterday. Was told they applied a ‘short term fix’ but a permanent solution has not been made available by Škoda. The short term fix made no difference, with assist systems still unavailable. They hadn’t heard of the software update mentioned earlier in earlier replies. Has anyone attempted to return or replace their car? As the issue has been reported for around a year (?) and a fix hasn’t been deployed by Škoda I am skeptical this will ever be completely fixed.
