  1. Yes, this is what I found out also. Thanks for confirming. My unit is with 1 SD card, no nav and the only way to crack it(yt video) is by doing some soldering on the unit which is way more complicated which I don't want to try. Contacted my dealer and got confirmation that smart link includes android auto and carplay. I ordered the activation and booked service time at the dealer for activation.
  2. Is there an alternative to get the license cheaper, directly from factory etc? Can I activate the license myself with obdeleven? My dealer said that its going to be 275 euros. That is just for SmartLink, not sure if its going to enable the Android Auto and CarPlay. Found an alternative way which is complicated: https://youtu.be/rkEOTRyYsvI?si=YeTq3jwvFojstLK0
  3. Hi! Looking into buying MK3 2017 Octavia. It seems to have newer Swing but I am trying to make sense if its Android Auto compatible. Seller does not know. In car manual Smartlink and Android Auto is mentioned. Added a picture how it looks, but has instead of the APP button its written SOUND. That is making me doubt, could be some earlier version which does not support Android Auto? Car VIN: TMBJ P7NE7 J00 59996 Thank You in advance and nice to see so big community just for Skoda!
