  1. Yes, i found some similar places where every time i pass, the music pause/freezes for about 1-2 seconds - not really sure why. The thing is that the connection does not work like that - the BT connection that is - especially when the phone is located 20cm distance from the stereo and there is no other interference.
  2. Hello. I have a 2021 Karoq model with Amundsen and I also have the factory-installed wireless CarPlay option, and I have a few questions about it. I've had the car for a few months, during which I've mostly used wireless CarPlay, but I've noticed something annoying – sometimes the connection "drops" (even when connected via cable) and it causes interruptions in music and navigation – there are moments when it happens 10 times in 3 minutes, and other times when it doesn't happen at all for weeks. The head unit is up to date, initially with service help, but later through the Infotainment Online subscription (I think) or Care Connect. With music it's somewhat manageable, but with navigation I've had a few instances, in Bulgaria but not only, where it left me "stranded", while driving fast and waiting for an exit off the highway – and that's not exactly pleasant. Do you have any idea if something can be done? Also, with the new iOS 26, Apple added 2 options that I was interested in and that don't seem to work for me: multitouch – tested and it doesn't work on Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps, although it works perfectly on the car's built-in navigation; ViM – Video in motion – which I don't care to work while driving, just when I'm parked (sometimes I have to wait up to 1 hour while my child finishes training). Somebody activated this feature for me (not sure if system-wide or just on Android) and yet I still can't stream to the car when watching something on my phone. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong or if there's some limitation from Skoda, that it doesn't support these features yet? And one more question regarding GPS – why, when I'm connected via CarPlay, can't I use the car's navigation with the car's GPS on the digital display, and Waze with the phone's GPS on the navigation screen? It would seem logical for both to work and use their own GPS.
  3. Sorry for bringing this topic back to life, but since iOS26 now supports airplay to car screens while stationary, do you know if and how is this possible?
  4. Hi guys. I have a Karoq 2020 with MIB3 and the navigation firmware is 20.9 (so september 2020) and I have activated the 3 month free Infotainment Online services 5 days ago and drove about 6h since then and still no update. I also tried the USB C stick with official firmware added and left in the front sockets since Saturday and still nothing. Do you know how long it should take for the update to complete? or is it something manually that I should do from inside the car? LE: the system version changed from 0230 to 0270 in about 2 days, after activating the Care Connect package - but I do not think that 0270 is the up to date version for my car, as I saw someplace else something like 03xx. Any idea?
  5. Thank you. In the meantime i paid for Care Connect and Infotainment Online services and I see that the Software has been updated from 0230 to 0270 (not sure why not something higher as I saw that the last is 300+). Unfortunately, the maps version did not update - i'm on a super old version - 20.9 (so september 2020) and there is no menu for "requesting" an update for Navigation - as far as I found. I can either update from a USB, or remain how it is. Any idea how to update the OS further than 0270 or how to officially update the navigation OTA from the paid service?
  6. Hi. You have a newer software version that I do on my 2020 Karoq - MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P27000P with software 0230, however I am unable to download the software from here as it takes me to mibsolution one that is offline. Any idea where I could download the software? Also, mine does not have the SD card unit so I would have to do it via USB-C stick i guess.
