  1. If it was bought from a dealer as an official used Skoda then insist that they update the software for you FOC. They are supposed to have all software up to date.
  2. On my 4.0 PHEV I have a display on the 'rev counter' that shows when regenerative braking is in force. There is also a diagram available that shown the overall energy flows in real time.
  3. The manual states that the in-car receiver for the key is underneath the front cup holder and a key with a low battery should be placed there to start the engine.
  4. Totally agree, the only way is to look at the system Information screen.
  5. I have reset myself as primary user after the app on my phone did an update. Let's hope it stays.
  6. I had an OTA update about 3 weeks ago and had to log back in with my PIN. I will be checking the car tomorrow.
  7. I have just received the same message. Anyone know what is happening?
  8. Your infotainment version is old and needs updating. If you bought an approved Skoda used car the dealer should have upgraded all software to the latest version but they often do not. In my case I had to insist and then they did it. It will only update OTA after version 1941. For the maps database you need to download the latest map zip file and extract the folders/files from the zip archive. There are 711 folders on my USB stick after extracting the files. Plug the drive into one of the 2 USB sockets at the front and check the status after 0.5 hours of driving. There is no indication that the files have loaded.
  9. I do a lot of short distance driving in electric mode on my 2021 PHEV. About once a month it insists on sunning on the ICE for about 10 miles, after that it will allow a swich back to electric mode.
  10. Thanks, downloaded it.
  11. when I got my 2021 Octavia 2 years ago I had a number of problems including navigation not storing favourites. My software version was 1804 and I insisted that the dealer updated it to 1941 (the then latest version). This fixed my problems. If you bought an approved used Skoda then they are supposed to confirm that all software is up to date. This was the lever I used to get the infotainment updated.
  12. I have a Garmin DC Mini2 plugged into this socket via a short USB C cable on a 2021 Mk4. There have been a number of discussions here if you search for them.
  13. If it was an official Skoda used car they are supposed to ensure that all software updates have been applied. It is part of the overall brand marketing message.
  14. In my 71 PHEV I get 33/34 miles in summer and 27/29 miles in winter. I uae very little AC or heating.
