  1. Could you get a home charger and charge at home? How many miles do you drive per day?
  2. The Enyaq configurator recently changed to include ventilated seats for the Suite option (and is now £2,200 rather than £2000 previously from memory!): Design Selection Package - Suite Black with seat ventilation in front No change that I can see for Elroq. Having had ventilated seats on a previous car, I would also swap them in a heartbeat in place of the massage option!
  3. 80-85 km/h, of course..?
  4. I have my Enyaq 85 and don't have any home charging. My cost per mile is still cheaper than previous petrol and diesel cars thanks to a Tesla subscription (£90/yr) and Ionity (£10.50 per month). This brings charging on Ionity down to 43p per kWh, and Tesla 24-37p depending on time of day and charger. I will occasionally stretch to a 55p per kWh charger if there is nothing else nearby that is handy and cheaper. My cost per mile for the energy is usually <12p per mile. If you charge at any random public charger, then be prepared for costs up to 89p per kWh... Sure, you can do ICE motoring for less, but not in equivalent cars to my Enyaq... my purchase involved a quite extensive spreadsheet looking at the overall cost of ownership (car cost, servicing, VED, petrol vs electrons etc.), and it still worked out substantially cheaper than my previous car.
  5. Well I've never purchased a new car in my life... (my current Skoda with 300 miles on the clock is the closest I've ever got). Without all these fleets buying cars, I'd never have such a great selection of great value approved used barely-used cars to pick from...
  6. Lovely spec. Always very jealous of the NHS fleet deals... no other employer can offer anything like them!
  7. Answered here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/532833-drivers-pack-where-has-it-gone/ You'll need to try and find a stock car... or upgrade to VRS!
  8. I would consider whether the Scala and Octavia are the right cars if mobility becomes an issue - e.g. bending and sitting down / getting back up? You may want to consider whether a SUV style vehicle, or at least something slightly higher off the ground, may make getting in and out easier in the future if you plan for this to be your last car?
  9. You need the VIN to confirm. While unlikely during COVID, date of registration can be quite different to date of manufacture - and you can find cars that sat around a while before being registered for the first time...
  10. The Drivers package was just DCC, nothing else. It was a £650 option on Sportline 85 models only (not available with the 60 battery or other trims) It doesn't seem to be available outside of the package nor included in any other packages.
  11. No, you'd need to have purchased an extended warranty. And even with a warranty, you're often on the hook for the diagnostic fee, and only if it turns out to be a warranty issue can the garage bill that to Skoda.
  12. I think both the Enyaq and Elroq are very dependent on the interior selected. The standard cloth interior sadly feels incredibly cheap, and my partner agreed when they first saw and sat in it. I've not seen the lodge interior, but, I think both cars feel much more premium with the suite or ecosuite (black or brown leather) interiors. It really lifts the car and everything feels and looks much nicer! The Sportline model has a much nicer interior with similar materials as standard to what it sounds like you have in your Octavia. Sadly, my body shape doesn't work with those sport seats! My last two cars were an Audi and a Lexus. The Enyaq ecosuite I have isn't quite as nice as those, but, it's still a very nice place to be. Assuming you have the option of either picking a sportline model or adding suite/ecosuite to an Edition model, perhaps worth trying to find one of those interiors before deciding to ignore the Elroq?
  13. I believe the My2025 (just before the facelift) and My2026 (new Elroq-like face) have app lock/unlock on the Enyaq now. But yes, not available for older models.
  14. Locksmith to open one of the mechanical locks? A Skoda dealer may have someone they can recommend.
  15. Even when a car is under warranty, you're still often told that you'll need to pay for the diagnostics if it turns out not to be a warranty issue. Given it's clear in this case there is a fault, and where it is given the logs, I would ask the dealer to get pre-approval for a warranty replacement, if it would have been covered originally. That won't eliminate the risk but hopefully significantly reduces it.
