  1. To be honest I didn't check the fluid when I collected the car , I fully understand that to make assumption's is not the best . But the description on their web site offer the service as "Brake fluid service / brake fluid replacement " £69.00
  2. Hello. Changed my discs and pads yesterday. Opened the brake fluid reservoir to find the fluid as shown in the image . My concern is I have had a reputable independent garage change the fluid two months ago when the car went in for timing belt and water pump replacement. The fluid appears to be overly dark and cloudy. I have contacted the garage who have said the image shows clear fluid around the edge and the middle looks like a reflection of some sort. What would your reaction be if this was on your car . Many thanks for your time .

  5. Hello . I have bought a replacement display unit the 5E0919606, but I'm having an issue with the connections on the back . The unit in the car has the black rectangle connector and a blue connector. The 5E0919606 has the same black rectangle but has a black oval in shape connector that the blue one doesn't fit . Is there a patch cable I can use to get this to work? Regards Adam
  6. Just to understand what does the "app" button do ?
  7. I enquired about my 16 plate vrs tdi cam belt change with Skoda in Stockport who informed me that it was a 15 year or 140000 mile interval . The cost was £1200 and they wanted two days to complete the work . This was as of the beginning of June 2025. I understand this is an old thread but in case anyone was searching. Adam F
  8. I will post a picture when i get home from work later , i'm just trying to freshen up the display it works fine, I have unlocked the car play on the unit in the glove box and that's the reason for not wanting to change that unit.

  11. Well I fitted this over the weekend and what a faf it was without the 12v socket removal tool . The whole install is very easy once the 12v socket is out.

  18. mac11irl The S3 had 27000 miles on it and I was paranoid that if i took it anywhere I would come back a an empty space or damage to it so i ended up not driving it , also everyone was up my rear wanting to race so yeah not my thing . As a car it was amazing.
  19. Hello just got my first Skoda after many years of VW group cars. Now have a VRS estate in rally green 2016. Coming from a 2018 Audi S3 there is a noticeable difference but the stress was not worth keeping the S3.
